I find these 'just eat more fruit, fiber, water' recommendations Annoying and dishonest. You're gonna need stool softener and probably laxative too. This isn't your regular BMs. You're probably on opiods under general anesthesia and after in pills for pain. Your bowel might be slow to wake up. Fruit isn't going to do shit, no pun intended.

Very true. Happened to me after piles surgery. No amount of water, fruits, vegetables, fibers and what not helped.

Right, it's been 1month and 18 Days Post-Op and still in pain everytime I poop... And using stool softener or laxative until now, cause of Constipation...
