Very to the point. For fresh graduates, would just add that if you don't have work experience, focus on your skillset, degree, language skills, relevant coursework and anything else you developed while at university. Basically, focus on all the things that you already have. Good employers just want to see that you have the attitude and foundational skillset to develop your skills further at their company, not work experience. Thanks for the video!

I have some questions:
1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate).
2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role
3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies
4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years*
*Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*..

Never thought Microsoft Word can be used so effectively. I can now call myself an expert in Word. Never used these formatting before for creating a resume. Good Job. So many resume builder websites are charging a good amount of money. Here we can do our own editing.

It's probably you aren't using the same version of office as mine is Office 365. If you are unable to find, you can download phone symbol from Google and simply insert it

how to insert the image on the shape it is getting below the shape now what to do
Select picture in front of the text . I had the same issue in office 2023 I googled it and I finally figured it out. Also one significant note is that it should not be in compatibility mode.

Anyone wondering how to insert those white dots beside each skill for xpable. Go to Home, above paragraph, you will see the numbering option or dots option and other options, and if you already wrote your list you can just highlight it with the mouse (Left click) and choose what you want from the options (Dots for example). I don't think picture is important.. I think its optional
The solution to "trouble with adding picture" is after inserting picture, do right click on inserted picture then go to "wrap text"> "In front of text". And then you can adjust picture.
In word document same format available just add ur details
why my photo is getting backward, I tried bring it front, but it's not working. I couldn't insert my photo. When I insert, it goes behind the first shape. AND WHEN I'M TRYING TO PUT TEXT BOX RIGHT HAND SIDE, IT CHANGES THE LEFT SIDE BOXES POSITION.

Doesnt work, the picture does not come to the front, stays behind the shape, no matter what command I give. But the design is really nice

In the MS Word, there are a lot of resume templates which can be found in "File -> New" and are free to use. Not sure whether its available in unpaid MS word.

Click on your picture, and you should see a square around your image. After that, go to the position icon and click on it. Click on the position on the top left as seen in the picture. That will solve your problem.
