Sincerely I love that you explain very well, I bought one of these bikes for my brother and put in a new carb, and the issue was it was dying the problem was I put the throttle cable opposite side from that screw where you fix how much gas house into THANKS FOR HELP AFTER 2 YEARS
We had the same issue! But I found a shut off on Amazon. The design is tinker toy, adding a in line shut off is the right plan. The new one's wont last any longer then the old one. Great riding
Glad to hear it, lot of good folks out there putting lots of good info out. My channel is not so much a how to but more of a "this is what I did" to fix it.
Sorry to hear your having trouble with it. If you have already tried a different carb, then check and make sure you don't have an air leak at carb mount.
Good video. There are exhaust restrictions at the first of the exhaust system. Even the exhaust gasket is restricting, proper, exhaust flow. This kills spark plugs and performance.
Woooo hoooo . Great watch rooster brother. Thoroughly enjoyed. I’ve got a couple of peewee 80s coming in at some point. I was expecting a 🍩 on the bike in honour of the detective 🕵️♂️ ! Lol. Take care sir 👍🏻🔧
Did your old carburetor have a missing screw from the threaded hole in bottom of carburetor bowl. Mine did. I fixed that, then it came out clear tube at bottom of carburetor. Then I tried adjusting float a few times, still have not found the fix for it leaking fuel.
How's she goin'? Nice fix. It seems the aftermarket carbs don't have the adjustments a OEM carb does. This sounds like it's running pretty good though. Take care!!!
Thanks Mike, yes the little scooter bike is running quite well. The original carb only had the one adjustment also, in this case i do believe the aftermarket carb is better than the original..
Hello I accidentally broke the bottom half of the ground wire the silver circle thing snapped off would you be able to point me in the right direction of getting a new ground wire I have a Xpro 50cc dirt bike for my kid
Can someone please tell me where to find an UPGRADED VERSION of the carburetor that fits this bike? I ordered the stock carb and it has also failed. Thats twice now. Im willing to pay whatever the cost. Just want my kids to be able to ride again.
@@TheRustyRooster thank you for your prompt reply. I have a question though. The part you linked to appears to be the exact same carburetor that came stock on the bike. Im curious, do you know of a more high performance or better quality carburetor thats compatible? I have ordered this same carb and it has failed twice. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond. Aloha.

2 Stroke drive me crazy!
Just got to get over that and build your confidence we're here to help ya if you need it
Whats the purpose of the fuel cut off valve in the first place? Why cut off the fuel? I
Because the fuel shutoff on these carbs are junk.
Hi I'm at the point where I took the air filter off and I'm trying to get the throttle cabel out of the original carburetor. How do I do that?
Unscrew the throttle assembly out of top of carb and pull straight out
Nice job mate
Thanks Henry I hoped it ran bad really wanted to show how to open that jet up but it just ran to darn good to fool with
Great music
Thanks Jonathan glad you liked it, Ill use it more often
What do I do if I lost the insulator plate? I can’t find them anywhere online
Check with syxmoto.com
What carb do you guys recommend for more efficient replacement over stock
I haven't seen much difference in the brands of carburetors for this engine. Thanks for watching I appreciate it

Rusty, from the looks of comments you should keep it for the weekend and make a video of you riding it around LOL 😂
