Medium legs/helm, medium legs/boots, medium legs/gloves also all give a light equipt load with the same armor rating as just running a medium chest (611) so if you get a really good medium peice on anything it can all turn into a light equipt load. Just clearing up for all that didn't know
Exactly. And also for a medium equipment load the only mandatory pieces are heavy chest and light legs and the others can be 2 pieces medium and 1 piece heavy. Not necessarily the helmet must be heavy with medium gloves/boots, it can be heavy gloves with medium boots/helmet OR heavy boots with medium gloves/helmet

weps are also the same as arm, if you want pve look for bane+wep perk
and pvp would most likely be a attunement +perk 👍

If you you use medium pants you can also wear medium boots/gloves/head and have the same LIGHT weight loadout + armor value as in medium chest and rest light!

wish I would have seen this before Raffelbones..... I tossed all of the light equipment that I'd gotten. Never knew you should mix them. For me as a novice, I appreciate the breakdown even if it was long. I'll look at your spreadsheet and prepare my stuff..... however it might all be irrelevant in Oct????

What's your take on luck and refreshing? I have luck ( is it really that useless???) and refreshing on all my gear , and some sort of perk boosting my weapon abilities for the last one. I more or less just do PVE
Its so hard to get good gear and crafting is... well, not worth it. So using these perks sort of covers the basics for me

for medium weight you can have the hat, gloves, or shoes as heavy with the other two as medium. i typically do HHMLM as you do, but you can also do MHHLM or MHMLH.

you're not wrong about the nuance of gear, Ill sit there and consider some interesting ability combinations and how the perks should then be maximized for far too long sometimes.

Instrumentality's Earing, if you upgrade it to 600, can have Refreshing Toast as it third perk.
generally i sorted my items the same way, i wonder how we will sort items when they remove wards and resiliance...

Also check "Bound on pickup or equip" cause if its the first you cant sell it.
I put stuff on the market and it very very rarely sells, even pieces that really should sell for quite small prices.

So much junk and selling them still takes me about 15min. Thank you for the vid.
Only thing you missed is in pvp lot of people just running 4 resilient so a piece with ele aversion / refreshing / freedom or other bis 3 pvp perks still is worth a lot. Also earing doesn’t need refreshing toast if ur in a certain mut where purifying toast is needed. Like a beloved / refreshing / purifying toast.

basically, medium pants are worthless. Medium heads aren't worthless though, because they way the same as medium hands and medium feet. you could opt for medium head and a heavy hands or feet.
Hearty doesn't give you 3 dodges. You can dodge 3 times by default and even with hearty and 300 dex, that last dodge is still a stamout. The benefit of hearty is you spend less time waiting for your bar to refill (as long as it isnt grey) because of the 10 stam buffer. After 1-2 dodges, you wait less time to dodge again. Basically makes it easier to keep your stam in limbo instead of grey.
you still get 3 dodges, especially if you are ina pickle and need to Stam out.

Medium boots and gloves do in fact belong in light armor class.

18:55, crit doesn't even add like 20% more healing? It just straight up can't crit, that's kinda sad. Would be a good item if it could crit since when you get crit you can then spam some big heals... :(

Yeah I’m glad you went thru the current games gear. I’m going to be honest I think the game is even in a worse spot than before. Armor still has to have ward protection. That’s terrible and boring - amulets have to have health boring again-- Here is a mind blowing idea. Copy Diablo- division- make the talents the most important part. Add gear sets for lazy relaxed players like myself. Sorry for blow up. I know it’s not always popular but these overly complex systems only take away they add zero fun IMO.

So uninformative. Too much generalization. Also, you do know there is multiple way to build medium and light gear set with equivalent values, right? Medium helm is great for many sets. For example, you can do M-helm L-chest L-gloves M-legs L-boots. Or Med Gloves and Legs, light everything else and that is equal to med chest and light arms,helm,legs,boots. This applies to medium as well. Always remember helms, arms and boots have equal weights and resistances so they are interchangeable.
It's almost as if you didn't watch the video, like when I said that gearing is incredibly nuanced and I will make some generalisations so the video isnt 40 minutes long 👍
Bad generalized advise is justified in the name of preventing a long video. Better advise would have been price match the market and just make a separate video to how gear weights work.
Wrong because a lot of people run 4 1 meaning light boot gloves pant and hat and medium chest for a light loadout same for medium loadout medium boot gloves pant and hat and heavy chest and if you think i'm wrong look at most builds on TH-cam so your guide is based on your own perspective meaning its off for most player because most people either make there own build or thy look at content creators builds and use that and medium rapier with bow is actually a thing btw its a meta siege loadout so the boots you said isn't much use is actually a meta peace of gear
