One thing I like about your videos is that you say that there are options besides the meta, and you don’t say to do something and then talk about how you have all the special gear, consumables and perks needed to do it. Getting all that stuff is harder than the original goal.
All of the videos you've been putting out recently have been top tier. Love the tier lists and guides for things like perks, gear and upgrading artifacts.

Everything he has ever recommended whether it's on his stream or on these videos is pretty normal for top end New World builds. One video or set of videos to tell you which perks are strong at that time or which perk to upgrade on an artifact is huge for players that are just trying or coming back to New World.

As a fellow PVE enjoyer can I recommend you make a series of videos teaching people how to play mutations? The basics of tanking, healing, dps and then some tips & tricks in each dungeon for the bosses and more difficult packs? It's a freaking disaster out there man, from healers dpsing in flail instead of putting healing circles down, to tanks having no clue where to stand, what mobs to prioritize in terms of aggro to dpses using dumb weapons and randomly going afk in the middle of a fight.
So, you need Rise of the Hangry Hearth for most of these items. Been playing for a couple weeks. Don't think I'll get the expansion (that's an expansion, right?). Good vid. Thanks for sharing.

This part about gear is what made me left the game sadly. Being a worker in real life and everything else taking up time makes my favourite genre mmorpg hard to play when it is structured this way. So many gear pieces to go through, so many different stats and perks in drops. Makes your head go round and round, and different systems to work around to achieve the best ones as well, like you mention many times it is a rumble. I tried to return in expansion when they say things get changed, but the gear system was just spinned around and new requirements dropped instead of removing them making it easier - in my opinion. BUT ONE THING, I have to say since I still watch you, love you and love New World and want to follow along - is that you are the best. These guides help every player still ingame keeping it alive, every new player thinking about the game, every old player like me to know if we can return without feeling stressed and so on. KEEP IT UP BAGGINS
I remember farming the Odo for hours when the angry earth update came out and it never dropped. Checked my transmog catalogue and saw the Odo skin was unlocked. Looked like it must’ve dropped when my game disconnected and couldn’t relog in time to collect it. AGS would not give me the item so I have no way of getting it. RIP 😢
I have been running GA/BB and FS/BB in pvp and it's been super fun. Unfortunately don't have pestilence yet it seems to be evading my pvp track. Pls RNJesus help me
Are you talking about the PvP rewards track? If so that level doesn’t do anything besides give you more rewards. There is no PvP matchmaking or role limits in the game, it’s completely random who you will be matched against.

I do have a vaguely related question if I may (my Discord is 'jammed' atm and I can't get into it), last year (May 2023) AGS promised that DPS meters were coming, have you heard anything further about this? I have a Great Sword and a Spear and so far I'm quite unable to see which I'm doing the most DPS with :(
Normally on armor, protection perks are illegal combos. And on weapons its the 'on proc' its just stuff that does a similar job that it 9/10 illegal combo
I loaded up New World the other day afeter a 6month break and it was so horrible, it was so overwhelming with all the different gear and stuff, I stopped playing after about 20 minutes as I was just clicking through all the storage sheds and not actually even playing. Really put me off, feel like I need to jsut make a whole new character to ease myself back in but that means I have to commit 100+ hours just to get back to lvl 60... I thought it was crazy that the storage system was still the same and it hadnt been polished. Unless it changes I dont think I will play this game again which is a shame. But I just dont have the time now to commit 2hrs worth of spare time to just sort my storage sheds out :{

They have revamped the leveling experience, so it takes a casual player about 30 hours to go from 1 to 65 now if you just follow the main story quest line. They have also changed the sotrage system a bit so you can move items between sheds just by putting them in your inventory and switch to another then and store it without running around with you character.
What do you mean sort out your sheds? If it’s gear from before the expansion click the salvage all button. If it’s not gear then it’s your fault for not organising it before. Simple should take 5 mins max
You could have made a much shorter video if you'd just said, "Here's the only gear you'll need for New World in 2024!" and then held up a Playstation/Xbox console.

You can get to gear score 675+ for like 2k gold or less in the trading post.
I did this and regret it because the perks are more important than GS once you're past 650 (easy enough to find 650-700 in group content)
