There is also probably the biggest tiger that once existed in Indonesia. It is the ngandong tiger and it weighs 400 kg.

I noticed you deleted all the comments that corrected you. Remember corrective criticism is a good thing that allows growth if accepted. Just don't tolerate disrespect theres a difference

The Tiger (Uncia tigris) is a large cat native to Asia, it is the largest extant species of cat in the world and one of the only two extant species in the genus Uncia, the other being the Ounce (Uncia uncia), the tiger originated exclusively from Western Asia and there are twelve recognized tiger subspecies, because the tiger originated exclusively from Western Asia, the most basal of the twelve tiger subspecies is the †Caspian Tiger (Uncia tigris virgata), then followed by the Bengal Tiger (Uncia tigris tigris), leaving the most recent split to be between two clades, which are the Uncia tigris altaica group (Sinarctic Tigers) and the Uncia tigris sondaica group (Southeast Asian Tigers) with the former containing the South China Tiger (Uncia tigris amoyensis), the †Wanhsien Tiger (Uncia tigris acutidens), and the Siberian Tiger (Uncia tigris altaica) and the latter containing the Indochinese Tiger (Uncia tigris corbetti), the Malayan Tiger (Uncia tigris jacksoni), the Sumatran Tiger (Uncia tigris sumatrae), the †Ngandong Tiger (Uncia tigris soloensis), the †Javan Tiger (Uncia tigris sondaica), the †Trinil Tiger (Uncia tigris trinilensis), and the †Bali Tiger (Uncia tigris balica).

Smilodon has nothing to do with tigers. It is neither a pantherine but belongs to a specifically class of felines (metailurines)

Actually, in case you should know, there are only three valid cat subfamilies: †Proailurinae (Primitive Cats), †Machairodontinae (Saber-Toothed Cats), and Felinae (Modern Cats), all living cat species belong to the subfamily Felinae, which makes Felinae the only cat subfamiliy alive today.

The saber-toothed tiger is misnomer; it is a different specie and not a tiger.

Smilodon belongs to the subfamily Machairodontinae while both lions and tigers belong to the subfamily Felinae like all living cat species do, hence the reason why out of the three cat subfamilies, Felinae is the only cat subfamily alive today while the subfamilies Proailurinae and Machairodontinae are both extinct.

The longdan tiger (Sinailurus zdanskyi) is not a tiger, Uncia tigris is the only true tiger.

Isn't the sabertooth known as cat, not tiger? That they had decided that it wasn't actually a tiger?
