Fun fact: The Smilodon’s large canine teeth weren’t actually used for biting into prey. These canines are around the size of a banana, but actually quite loose. Any amount of pressure from biting would’ve resulted in these teeth coming out.

Well they will obviously be kept in containment, and on top that they where only dangerous due to a large lack of technology. They would not be nearly as lethal even if they did escape.

Animals can’t come back from extinction unless you use the process of selection. Therefore, they probably never went extinct, so they were probably just very well hidden.

Whilst yes they are wonderful animals if they are extinct we should not being them back they went extinct almost 100 years ago they would not be able to navigate today's world with so many cars and roads they would not be able to survive

1. Limit much of the jaws opening distance.
2. Would break upon massive-bones and/or prey's struggle.
