Am I the only one who unironically loves the DCAMU? Personally, I think the movies started out kind of weak, but each one gradually increased in quality in my opinion.
I've loved it since the first Wonder Woman and Doomsday. I have every movie they've ever released so far. Including the digital copy of superman death and return which came out like 5 hours ago lol

Oh and great video as always guys, and thanks for finally clearing up that Batman and Flash thing for me. It's always bothered me how Batman talks like he's just meeting the Flash in War after that heartfealt ending to the Flashpoint Paradox.
I always saw the ending of Flashpoint as picking up right where they left off and War them going back and explaining how they got to that point to show how everything is different. The New 52 style Superman only exists if Ma and Pa are dead. It's basic cause and effect
I would like to think Crisis on Two Earths and Doom are also part of the Pre Flashpoint DCAMU the only stuff that contradicts it are the different Mirror Masters in Doom and Flashpoint, The Starro Flashbacks in COTE and Flashpoint and J'onn's absence in FP, but the sequel JL Doom already had J'onn missing so who knows what happened to J'onn. The different Mirror Masters can be explained with the JL Doom being Sam Scudder and Flashpoint being Evan McCulloch And the Starro flashback in COTE and Flashpoint can be explained by J'onn probably being invisible explaining why he wasn't shown in the Flashpoint scene and the COTE scene was shown in J'onn's POV as he was flying so Cyborg wasn't visible since he was at the ground.
So long as you're doing non-DCAU timelines, I'd love to see one for the Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes / Wolverine and the X-Men / Hulk Vs universe.

I always thought that the ending of flashpoint made the new timeline but that Barry's contiousness didn't travel to the new timeline till that timeline arrived at a certain point, while War just showed how the JL met in his new timeline.
Yeah, I am pretty sure in the comic it is the same. If War is Justice League Year One then Barry returned to the new timeline when he left which was year 5 or so for the league.

Based on how JL vs TT only references Son of Batman of the Batman films and how Damian seems to be back to acting like he did before he came back in bad blood, I've always viewed it as taking place after throne of atlantis but before batman vs robin. Based on their interaction at the beginning it also seems like this may be the first time Dick has seen Kori since he left the Titans and this is what reignited their relationship that we see in BvR and Bad Blood.
It is a bit late but no. At the end of the Batman vs Robin, Damian leaves Gotham and in the following Batman: Bad Blood he comes after after learns that Batman is missing. There is no way JL vs TT can happen between the two. Also writer os the JL vs TT confirmed that Damian is 13 in the movie.
I love the DCAMU even though it's movies are so mediocre. I'm just so in love with it. It's crazy. The DCAU and the DCAMU are literally at the top of my search bar. 😂😂😂
Are you planning to do more of these videos that branch out to other DC properties? I don't mean this as an insult, but a channel that exclusively covers the DCAU is a little niche. Occasionally doing extra content like this could draw in more viewers who possibly didn't know of the DCAU, giving you an opportunity to introduce it to them. Just a thought.
It's possible that the Flash hadn't met Batman before (Batman is kind of a loner) despite the fact that his sidekick was on a team with batman's sidekick and was justifiably nervous about their first meeting.
I just realized that the parallel universe thing is serious and not a joke and that it's a world where the watchtower is obsessed with the DCAMU (or something like that) But in a meta sense, it's not cause it's part of a story on the channel.
Funny how it’s the fans putting in the work to explain a half assed timeline the creators couldn’t be bothered to explain. U guys care more than DC obviously does, y’all dig and dig and dig for info that should’ve been clarified by DC. If DC got their shit together no confusions would be had. But DC doesn’t care. I like how marvel cares about pleasing new fans AND dedicated fans, they put lots of work in the details that no one but dedicated film/cómic fans would ever catch. Despite the official ruling being that the Flash/Batman scene at the end of Flashpoint is not in the same universe, I prefer to put it in the same universe and in WAR, Flash's whole "It's an honor to meet you" etc is for GL benefit only, as though Flash and Batman up to this point have promised to keep any correspondence completely secret. It may be a stretch but it works in my head. :)

Multiverse aside, it's weird thinking about Robin and Starfire as adults and talking about thongs compared to seeing their doppelgangers as children in Teen Titans. They're not the same versions of the characters, and the events of Teen Titans probably didn't happen at all in the DCAMU's past. Probably a whole bunch of different missions as the Teen Titans. But still, kid version versus adult version.
Um, at the beginning of Throne of Atlantis, one of the people on the submarine has a kid who's "a big fan of the Justice League," and said kid is shown in a photo playing with super hero toys, one of which is Cyborg, who was created during War. How can that all happen in a week? Maybe the toys already existed (minus Victor), but not sold as a group, but if the Justice League formed roughly a week before, the kid wouldn't have had time to become a "big fan." I literally started watching it this morning and it's still paused on my computer.
Honestly, I think it was being used before we used it in our JLvsF5 speculation video, but I hadn't heard of it at all before then. I felt like I was making it up, but I believe it and DCAFU (DC Animated Film Universe) were being used interchangeably for a couple years at least. We can really thank producer James Tucker for official-izing it!
Also, since you guys are kinda breaking out of purely DCAU properties, perhaps you could do a timeline video on Injustice, since it's DCAU-esque in it's cast of voice actors and is pretty much a franchise based off "A Better World."

OK so I need help on something. I recently got the pack of 30 DCU films from iTunes (The 10th anniversary set that was $99.99),along with a couple other ones like Justice League vs Fatal Five and Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay (Part of this film franchise but not in the initial set that I purchased). How many movies in total are under this DCU brand since I got 30 films plus a few others separately? I'm counting at least 50.
Bro i am totally pure mcu fan. The only connection i have with Dc is Batman trilogy and wonder woman. Beside those two i don,t like any other dcmovie. And because of corona virus some phase 4 of mcu movie have delayed i have come to dc animation and i am trying to understand where to start from . At first i thought i am just going to watch dark knight returns 1 and 2 . But this video have made me want to left dc animated universe because it all looks so confusing .

i understand the official explanation, but if you wanna ignore that, another explanation could be that the flash and batman scene takes place later than jl war. flash created the war timeline after flashpoint but didn't enter it at that point, he entered it at a later date and took the place of the barry in that new timeline. just something i like to tell myself so there doesn't need to be a second timline that serves no purpose besides emotional weight that doesnt even affect the main timeline, this way it does

I think a lot of the pre Flashpoint /decamu can be in continuity with each other. I can't think of any contradictions between the majority of non Elseworlds/Multiverse films (Dark Knight, Gods & Monsters, New Frontier, Gotham by Gaslight etc.) Batman Year One Wonder Woman Green Lantern:First Flight Green Lantern: Emerald Knights Superman Doomsday Superman/Shazam Return of Black Adam Superman/batman public enemies Superman/ batman Apocalypse Superman: unbound Batman Under the Red Hood Justice league crisis on two earths Justice League: Doom Superman vs Elite Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox It makes Flashpoints stakes, and later retcon mean something if all these movies are linked. Atleast, that is my head canon.
I like your ideas and I do think the same way but there is at least one contradiction. Sinestro becomes evil in First Flight at the same time Hal becomes a Green Lantern but in Emerald Knights Hal is an experienced Green Lantern but Sinestro has not turned evil yet so they don't connect. If you accept both Wally and Barry being Flash close to each other then the rest of the movies mostly work.
I agree with you for the most part, but some things don't fit. Superman: Doomsday doesn't fit because Pa Kent is dead in that film and alive in most of the others. That said in Superman/batman: Public Enemies there's a joke about Superman having had a funeral and in Apocalypse Superman was familiar with Doomsday so a version of the film probably happened in this timeline so it can be called adjacent but not completely in continuity. Green Lantern: First Flight and Superman Unbound can similarly be considered adjacent but not completely in continuity. DC Showcase: Catwoman would fit in continuity and Batman: Dark Knight Returns Parts 1 &2 can be considered adjacent. Actually, the entire pre-Flashpoint Paradox continuity can be considered DCAU-adjacent due to a version of the events of COTE almost certainly happening between JL and JLU. I would add that Batman: Killing Joke would be part of this continuity as well as the Jason Todd dies continuity in Batman: Death in the Family.
Lujack Shaw I was enjoying it for the first 2 acts, but when I started to realize that Thomas Elliot actually was dead and The Riddler was Hush, I was so pissed off. They wasted Elliot and ruined 2 great Batman villains all at once!

In Hell To Pay, the War timeline is stated as an alternate timeline, separate from the end of Flashpoint.

It's possible that the Flash hadn't met Batman before (Batman is kind of a loner) despite the fact that his sidekick was on a team with batman's sidekick and was justifiably nervous about their first meeting.
I just realized that the parallel universe thing is serious and not a joke and that it's a world where the watchtower is obsessed with the DCAMU (or something like that)
But in a meta sense, it's not cause it's part of a story on the channel.

Funny how it’s the fans putting in the work to explain a half assed timeline the creators couldn’t be bothered to explain. U guys care more than DC obviously does, y’all dig and dig and dig for info that should’ve been clarified by DC. If DC got their shit together no confusions would be had. But DC doesn’t care. I like how marvel cares about pleasing new fans AND dedicated fans, they put lots of work in the details that no one but dedicated film/cómic fans would ever catch. Marvel needs lots of work but they sure do make their stuff with a ton of love… dc? Ehh once bare minimum is achieved, that’s all that’s done.
Despite the official ruling being that the Flash/Batman scene at the end of Flashpoint is not in the same universe, I prefer to put it in the same universe and in WAR, Flash's whole "It's an honor to meet you" etc is for GL benefit only, as though Flash and Batman up to this point have promised to keep any correspondence completely secret. It may be a stretch but it works in my head. :)
It’s very likely that that ending scene just takes place sometime after “War,” if it is in the same timeline.

Multiverse aside, it's weird thinking about Robin and Starfire as adults and talking about thongs compared to seeing their doppelgangers as children in Teen Titans.
They're not the same versions of the characters, and the events of Teen Titans probably didn't happen at all in the DCAMU's past. Probably a whole bunch of different missions as the Teen Titans.
But still, kid version versus adult version.
Why not use Damian's dog Titus as a frame of reference? He got it as a puppy at the end of Judas Contract and looks fully grown in Hush.
Um, at the beginning of Throne of Atlantis, one of the people on the submarine has a kid who's "a big fan of the Justice League," and said kid is shown in a photo playing with super hero toys, one of which is Cyborg, who was created during War.
How can that all happen in a week? Maybe the toys already existed (minus Victor), but not sold as a group, but if the Justice League formed roughly a week before, the kid wouldn't have had time to become a "big fan."

I thank this channel for coining the term DCAMU, it sounds a bit weird but it is a lot easier to remember than the full name.
Honestly, I think it was being used before we used it in our JLvsF5 speculation video, but I hadn't heard of it at all before then. I felt like I was making it up, but I believe it and DCAFU (DC Animated Film Universe) were being used interchangeably for a couple years at least. We can really thank producer James Tucker for official-izing it!

I recently got the pack of 30 DCU films from iTunes (The 10th anniversary set that was $99.99),along with a couple other ones like Justice League vs Fatal Five and Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay (Part of this film franchise but not in the initial set that I purchased). How many movies in total are under this DCU brand since I got 30 films plus a few others separately? I'm counting at least 50.

And because of corona virus some phase 4 of mcu movie have delayed i have come to dc animation and i am trying to understand where to start from . At first i thought i am just going to watch dark knight returns 1 and 2 . But this video have made me want to left dc animated universe because it all looks so confusing .

i understand the official explanation, but if you wanna ignore that, another explanation could be that the flash and batman scene takes place later than jl war. flash created the war timeline after flashpoint but didn't enter it at that point, he entered it at a later date and took the place of the barry in that new timeline. just something i like to tell myself so there doesn't need to be a second timline that serves no purpose besides emotional weight that doesnt even affect the main timeline, this way it does

I think a lot of the pre Flashpoint /decamu can be in continuity with each other.
I can't think of any contradictions between the majority of non Elseworlds/Multiverse films (Dark Knight, Gods & Monsters, New Frontier, Gotham by Gaslight etc.)

I like your ideas and I do think the same way but there is at least one contradiction. Sinestro becomes evil in First Flight at the same time Hal becomes a Green Lantern but in Emerald Knights Hal is an experienced Green Lantern but Sinestro has not turned evil yet so they don't connect. If you accept both Wally and Barry being Flash close to each other then the rest of the movies mostly work.
I agree with you for the most part, but some things don't fit. Superman: Doomsday doesn't fit because Pa Kent is dead in that film and alive in most of the others. That said in Superman/batman: Public Enemies there's a joke about Superman having had a funeral and in Apocalypse Superman was familiar with Doomsday so a version of the film probably happened in this timeline so it can be called adjacent but not completely in continuity. Green Lantern: First Flight and Superman Unbound can similarly be considered adjacent but not completely in continuity. DC Showcase: Catwoman would fit in continuity and Batman: Dark Knight Returns Parts 1 &2 can be considered adjacent. Actually, the entire pre-Flashpoint Paradox continuity can be considered DCAU-adjacent due to a version of the events of COTE almost certainly happening between JL and JLU. I would add that Batman: Killing Joke would be part of this continuity as well as the Jason Todd dies continuity in Batman: Death in the Family.

Lujack Shaw I was enjoying it for the first 2 acts, but when I started to realize that Thomas Elliot actually was dead and The Riddler was Hush, I was so pissed off. They wasted Elliot and ruined 2 great Batman villains all at once!
I wish they would've made Flashpoint Paradox when the comic was already out. It was pretty close, though.
