I have never liked the 6 person tribe start. Productions says it's so no one can hide, but this is the 1st season that holds since all 3 tribes have been to TC. All other seasons have had a decimated tribe allowing EVERYONE on the other 2 tribes to hide.
@@roger_towny_jrbecause by voting for Sol would show them she was loyal & willing to work with them. The fact that she refused & tried to save him showed that she was not willing to compromise & read the room
@TheRea1Neil If she was willing to turn on Sol, how does that fill them with confidence if it shows she's willing to turn on her allies on a dime. Your logic isn't logicing
I mean that is one reason but he was willing to vote Sol out over Aysha when Teeny said they could. If Aysha would have just been more flexible seeing that they were basically trying to tell her voting out Genevieve (was that her name?) wasn't going to happen she should have just went with it. Like if she did I think they would have been willing to flip on the next vote easily or at least it buys you time to get to the next tribal or merge. Also, I think Rome's tribe are kind of scared of him due to his ability to find/get advantages too.
She was a huge b word to Rome and acted so condescendingly all the time. Its going to be a big deal to start a fire so Rome can cook the fish yep I guess I'll go with everyone into the water and try to plot Rome voted out because he did the mean thing of getting them fish lol like yeah.
Glad that so far David and Jessica are able to properly analyze the situation and realize what happened. Though I think Rob did too, a lot of fans just don't pick up on his humor and sarcasm. Which led to a lot of rather dense and frankly parasocial RHAP fans bashing the other players for daring to vote out Aysha.
I think the secret scene between Sol and Rome reveals part of Aysha's downfall. If there are three clear pairs and Sol told Rome to tone it down around camp because people are complaining about him... Rome had to assume/know that Sol was talking about Aysha. Inadvertently or not, Sol set Rome completely against Aysha, who he now assumes is going around behind his back talking him down. Add to that Rome's initial suspicion of her going off on the first challenge solo, setting in motion a chain of confirmation bias in finding reasons not to trust Aysha, and then he sees her hanging out with the person he wants as a strategic partner (Teeny), and of COURSE Rome feels like Aysha is his antagonist. It's easy to say from here that just going along with Sol would have kept her around a bit longer, but I can see how she missed that from her perspective with Teeny and Kishan as part of a solid four. She underestimated the trust Rome had built with her supposed allies, and that is why Aysha lost.
If they where scared on who Rome would play the idol on there's a guarantee way of sending Rome or Genevieve home if they bring sol in and do split vote of 2 on Rome 2 ob Genevieve than regardless of who Rome plays the idol on the vote would be tied then on the revote 4 of them can vote out the one who didn't get the idol played on
If the tribes had been split differently and Rome and TK were swapped I wonder just how different thinks would have worked out? Imagine Gabe and Rome on the same beach from day 1, with Sue? Would TK have got along with the red tribe better?
Asyha was approached with an offer. I agree with the thought that she should have done whatever would have gotten her more time. Asyha had no leverage at that time & was definitely an outlier. Not voting w/ what the majority wants at that time, inadvertently gave them ammunition to send her home. I agree that you should do what is needed to save yourself from being voted out today so that you can survive another day. Once Asyha would have survived the recent vote, she then could have continued to develop strategic play, especially since Rome no longer would have had any immunity & votes could have perhaps been flipped to vote him & Genevieve out in future tribal councils.
I kinds found Heidi's attempts to impose her "anyone but but me" strategy (implemented to perfection by Sandra only) on Aysha annoying. I barely remember her gameplay in 44 except the firemaking debacle that still didnt earn her the votes to win. Aysha clearly thought that she was close enough to Teeny and Kishan that they would not vote her out. She was wrong. It happens every year.
Something nobody mentions is: the black factor, Aysha is the smart strong analytical woman and Rome is the black happy - go - lucky, frontal, gregarious, loud black man. They sensed each other and didn't see with same eyes. Aysha was judging him, and Rome is intuitive. They could not lie to each other, neither followed leadership. Two bosses. Rome is very lucky living the moment. Aysha was looking at the future.
I believe once you lost your vote at the next tribal council, it was gone no matter what. Even if you drew the advantage on your second try, you'd still lose your vote at the next tribal.
The edit made it seem like she didn't try anything to save herself, but there's alot more we don't see. David's analysis is based on what we see on the show, deleted scenes, social media posts and exit interviews.
No she didn't. Had Rome lost his vote instead of getting a vote steal, Teeny and Kishan wouldn't have cold feet about splitting the votes between Tome and Genevieve.
Why would Aysha think Teeny and Kishan were testing her? It doesn’t make sense that they would make a decision against her if she says she’ll turn on Sol. That would demonstrate loyalty to them, rather than Sol. I think acting stubborn and inflexible during this conversation was THE big mistake.
I think Aysha will become David's new poster child for following rule number 3. Had she voted Sol, she might have been around to vote for Rome and Genevieve later.
I’ve enjoyed hearing you hash out all the details about what happened, but one thing has been bugging me while listening and I just wanted to add a little comment about it (and please take this in the spirit it’s meant - I’m aiming to add some context in a friendly way rather than be the pronoun police! And this has basically nothing to do with me anyway - I’m a cis woman but a committed trans ally, and given the way “the internet” and a lot of the public discourse is very anti-trans in the current moment, I figure I should take any chance to try and tip the balance the other way 🙃) Teeny is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns in general, from what I understand. I don’t think it’s a big deal in this case because Teeny specifically has basically all the pronouns on their Instagram already 😄 (“she/they/he”). It doesn’t seem like they’re going to be offended about the “wrong” ones being picked, but it’s maybe something for people to bear in mind going forward because “she/her” isn’t necessarily the default choice to use for Teeny, and maybe people want to try mixing things up a bit and using gender-neutral pronouns as the default pick ☺️ (I noticed David did an excellent job with pronouns throughout 🫡👏)
If you can be called she/they we ALL should be called he/she/they like who even cares at that point, yes I am he but I am also they just in case I am many like, I don't know.
Last minute Teeny and Kishan DID tell her they would go with their plan, likely to avoid the chance she uses the shot in the dark and then somehow the vote rebounds on them.

I was going to say at least it's been balanced so far.
43 was like that too. So no its not the first time.
Why hide the person's name in the title but then spoil it in the thumbnail?
I had to unsubscribe. I suppose it's my fault for not watching the episodes quickly enough.
Because the name of the show is why blank lost the name is always hidden you had 3 days to watch
They're no hiding it in the title. THATS THE NAME OF THE SHOW. I FEAR THATS COMMON SENSE
@Natg6 But isn't it titled this way to avoid saying the name and spoiling it?
@@Natg6 I understand you're saying the blank is part of the title of the show, but the concept of the title appears to be to avoid spoilers.

Why Aysha Lost: Rome hates her
That is not remotely why she lost. She lost because she made poor decisions.
If anything it very much came off as she hated Rome and he just didn't have an interest in working with Sol and by extent her.
