I've never understood people who go on Survivor without being able to make fire, who go on The Amazing Race without being able to drive stick, or go on The Challenge without being able to swim.
Just FYI. I'm a 67 year old huge fan of Survivor, and am old enough to have watched it since Season 1. I sent in VHS audition tapes in 2003 & 2004, but never heard from anyone at CBS. But, I hired a young wilderness guy to teach me how to make fire without matches, because none of the competitors so far knew how to do it! 🙄 I paid him (Will) $20 an hour, and we met like 3 times. He taught me the "Bow & Drill" method because in 2003 they were still filming in different locations, so it seemed to be the best general method to learn. And I used my skills that I learned in my 2004 audition tape. And I was able to do in on camera, in a public park, under a lot pressure due to time restraints limits for the tapes. 🔥🤸🎉 And I still have my fire making kit that Will made me, and I have been known to pull it out at parties and take bets that I can do it. And although I haven't made a million dollars from it, I have taken a few trips on that money. 🤑
lol at Sarah’s joke “and the truth comes out” immediately when Riley was misunderstood. Riley you’re so funny and this show would not be what it is without you. You and Tyson are so good as a duo, every guest feels like they’ve always been part of the show.
Eat egg raw. Anika was super bitter but needed to go. Andy can't even use the correct end of a knife saw. Andy is a super weak link and will be gone soon enough. Anika is an emotional wreck. Not even part of the jury....lol
I'm enjoying these podcasts with early boots. Sarah is funny and beautiful. Gone too soon in her season and that production made fake idol was truly one of Survivor's worst decisions. I'd like to see Season 50 now consist only of people who were voted out pre-merge but I doubt that will happen. Hopefully at least some will be included in that season or another.
1:01:55 Actually Sierra had the numbers to get out whoever she wanted, other than probably Rachel. Because if Anika is one of the votes, than a tie between the boys vs: Sierra and Rachel would only leave 3 people voting the second time, as either Andy or Sam wouldn’t get to vote.
the new era is spooiled, they want to eat but they don't want to work , even when someone is doing their best to get food like rom getting fish , they didn't decide to help him but instead watched him work and came together when it's time to eat and they have the audacity to bare fangs on rom good thing rom has so much power in the game
41:55 So idk the social rules around women saying their heights, but mine is typically about 5’4 and 3/4, so I just round up and say 5’5 because I feel like saying the fraction is kind of like an adult adding “and a half” onto their age. But another thing I’ve noticed is that my height changes depending on how recently I’ve been to the chiropractor. Like it can fluctuate by an inch. Edit 42:29 See!
Someone who doesnt understand that 95% of people to go are blindsided, Dont know why she was so surprised, The way she acted was kind of embarrassing, If she wasnt blindsided in that episode she would have been blindsided another day, Thats survivor.
