Rome literally said on the show he was "blindsided". Then said in his exit interview with Rob that he was tipped off and there was a 25% chance he'd be voted out. He then carries on with some serious revisionist history of what we saw went down. Maybe one day he'll be able to admit the truth. Until then he"ll live in his delusions, just as grandiose as his ego is.
Not sure this is specific to Rome, I think accountability is hard in modern survivor. From the exit interviews I watched from last season, none have lost because of their mistakes, apparently.
the writing was on the wall for rome as soon as he chose cheddar as his representative cheese on the four cheese pizza alliance. my man, cheddar does NOT belong in a four cheese pizza!
I usually listen to all the exit interviews. I only made it about halfway through Mike Bloom's and only lasted 50 seconds into Rob's. I have way too many narcissists in my life to waste time listening to a completely delusional one. Nothing real about the game can be learned by anything he has to say. I am so glad he is gone. Very interested in Genieve's amazing game and wondering if she can continue to hide behind other big personalities. I believe for the first time, every player at the merge has a path to FTC and at least 1 jury vote. GREAT cast and a GREAT season so far! I think Sam and Sierra always knew Andy would be an easy name to throw out at merge to hide the alliance. Nobody sees him as a threat but an acceptable back-up plan. Kyle knows he's at the bottom of his tribe and is looking for a new alliance. Narcissist can be quite charming and able to quickly acquire info they can weaponize. Rome didn't realize that pathological truthful people are their kryptonite and easily blow up their lies and half-truths.
For a player who preached loyalty so much and expected blind loyalty in return, he tried really hard to sew disloyalty amongst those he viewed as his opposition, huh?
my favorite saturday podcast.
This is not a question I thought could only be answered in 1 hour and 17 minutes
😂😂😂😂

Easily the most unhinged the editors have ever been… Love it.
I was thinking maybe part of Sam’s decision was him recognizing that Sol I a better shield than Andy
jessica you’re not alone, the david computer tweeting also blows my mind 😹🤯
Love your commentaries.

Sue is dangerous , she is going to slide into the final. Gabe should know he is in the bottom of Sue and Caroline
Wait for next week, are half of people immune or are they doing the usual divide into 2 groups in two camps for a double vote?
Gen Z thinks real life is TikTok
Way too cocky
Seriously, what’s the damn point of calling it why ___ lost when you put the person’s picture and name in the thumbnail?
THIS!!!!
It’s only ‘why blank lost’ until the the next person is voted out. Then the episode is why that person lost. Why is this so hard to understand?
@@TinkerMomLA this podcast is for this week’s episode. Who else got voted out since Rome did? They did another special Friday episode?!
