Massive sad but 3 years isn't that bad of a stretch with no issue with a car made within the last 5-10 years so it def isn't a lemon for late 2010s-present quality standards of cars
I had a really bad experience with Ford too their dealerships are the worst yet something broke on my Lexus they fixed it free and it wasn't even under warranty
My 2019 edge titanium just threw the same code this weekend but drove perfectly fine before and after it came on. Did you get the issue resolved? If so, what did you find out?
Is there any performance issues/differences or is it just the CEL?
It's very erratic and jerky.

Sorry to hear with your Ford experience. And wow, that's a rarity having a dealer charge you nothing out of warranty!
Maybe Try Napelton Ford In Libertyville
The car has already been fixed.
@@BusMaster99 Oh Really? Next time! You should try them.

Yes the issue was resolved. The EGR DPFE valve had to be replaced and the tubing for it as well.
@@BusMaster99 DPFE valve or sensor? I'm familiar with the sensor, but not a valve.
@@chrispadilla8848 Sorry. I meant the sensor.
@@BusMaster99 thanks for the info.
I'm having the same problem
Delete the EGR. It's useless garbage that reduces engine performance just for "better emissions."
