Lovely message! So fantastic that you got to be with John Louis and learn directly from him. Serendipity brought me to this TED talk due to my intense curiosity about the transformative power of the Clue Clucks Clowns experience of using humor and creative actions to illuminate lightness and laughter.
I too agree that 'unity' isn't the ultimate goal when there is conflict...but listening to one another and being 'in relationship.' Some of the best music has so many variable sounds and minor keys. This expression is so very beautiful.

Love your music David, just listened to your song Hope and ended up looking for you on TH-cam and found this ted talk. After the first story you told about the klu Klux clowns I was hooked and had to watch the whole talk.

BRAVO! Thank You, David, and all those involved, for this excellent video. Thank You for the the excellent message. I Love all of what you say here and how you say it ... I especially appreciate why you prefer the word harmony over unity ... Yes! I consider music an important background setter for Peace (and many other things as well) ... music provides a focus for us as we connect and we can connect even if just singing together or playing instruments together ... and it does provide an example of how we can be together in peace (or together for other purposes as well) ... I've got to find out more about you David ... Have you heard about World Beyond War? Love & Peace to All
