You know what they say Carol, if your not living on the edge your taking up too much space, and although it did stress me out, I find the uncertainty exciting, having to live on my witts keeps me alive. Pat just hangs on to my coat tails oblivious of the mechanics of life.
Sorry you missed us Jackie, it was a bit of an impromptu thing. Applying for a first passport was a nightmare, but not having our own home it sure helps with id because we don't have any utility bills, so it's hard for Pat to prove who she is, not having a driving licence.
We were very fortunate with airports. The only one my hubby didn’t like was Toronto Airport and I believe it’s bigger now. Bad experiences can put a person off. We always allowed lots of time. I think the first room you talked about maybe lots of people left to never return to sleep. Easy money for them. Pat Ernie loves you. Take care.
We hadn't flown since 1970, so it was a very bewildering experience, talk about innocents abroad. I don't know if we would do it again Debbie. Young back packing people would probably think nothing of that air b&b, it's probably what they would expect, but not us, we want a bit of comfort. We all love Pat Debbie.
My cousin lived in Germany for about 30 years and she always bought German food when she could when she came back to the UK. Ha ha, a ferry to a hotel! Only you Trevor.😂
Hi Trevor and Pat, enjoy your chats. I'm in Burghead, don't think you'd have been there, it's on the Moray Firth in North East Scotland about 35 miles from Inverness, I'm a retired electrician been retired since 2016. Keep the chats going it cheers me up.
No wonder you don't want to go abroad again. Our daughter lives in N.Ireland and we drove from Essex to Stranraer with 2dogs in our motorhome. I know we weren't leaving England but that was about adventurous as we got. Too much to see in this country.
I booked a hotel in Bournemouth for 2 nights and no sooner did i book it i had an email back saying just to make you aware theres a night club attached to this hotel and its on till 4am. So i cancelled and yes like you problem i had getting the money back. I have booked another hotel 2 nights no night club there and asked for a quiet room. Hi Ernie
Nightclubs until 4am? Unless you’re a party animal, that sounds like a recipe for a sleep-deprived vacation! Here’s hoping your new hotel is as quiet as a library Jacqueline.
@trevorpat-lifeontherun no, im no party animal. Never have been. I'll be happy to wander around the christmas market yay take pictures. Ill let you no how i get on. End of November.
Hubby would like to go abroad in the motorhome, but I definitely don't! I get sick on ferries and that channel tunnel looks scary!! Not for me!! I like the good old UK, the weather doesn't bother me, I am not a sun worshipper!! See you tomorrow, bye!!
Totally get you Mary! The UK has some awesome spots to see, no need for the ferry drama. Plus, who needs the sun when you have cozy vibes at home? See you tomorrow!
Very Enjoyable Chat - Trevor and Pat - Thank You
Your welcome Karen. ❤️
I think your a lovely couple ,,so nice to each other x
Thank you Liz. Who could be anything but nice to the lovely Pat.
That vacation would have given me a nervous breakdown! I can't travel without definate plans and hotels booked. Nice that you can laugh about it now.

I missed your live. My passport ran out years ago i don't intend to go again, but now i need a passport to get a free local bus pass can't win 😂

@@debbiedusterhoft2870 Do you know Pat personally Debbie?
I am a very lucky man, mind you I had to fight very hard to win her.

We stayed in the camper on a farm just outside Lhanbryde once Stuart, which isn't far from you.
Glad you like the vlogs.
We’ve taxied, for 25 minutes at Amsterdam airport. It is huge, it’s like a city on its own. Then you get the motorway going under the runways!
That sounds familiar.
@ we went in April to see the flowers at keukenhof, we got a travel card and used the train and tram to get around Amsterdam and surrounding area. xx
You should have said you tuned concert pianos
Do you think that would have helped Alec?

We haven't scratched the surface of this country yet Sandra.
Love little Ernie little sweetie
He is Barbara.
You are definitely not airport people I think, that experience has put you off flying.
Maybe Pauline, although I wouldn't rule it out altogether, you never know with us.
Oh Ernie is lovely🫶⭐️
👍

A Christmas Market would be my worst nightmare Jackie, but glad to say we're not all the same. Hope you enjoy the experience.
