Fakes are fine for the reason that these factories are making them 1:.99 for cheaper tells a lot. A lot of the fake shoes are limited, not taking money from original concept anyway. If anything it's free advertising. Sure, the guys that buy gucci and designer are definitely buying it for clout because those items might still be on the shelf. They are just priced like a trust fund kidney. But some shoes are just inaccessible and there's no reason for someone to waste a crap ton of money on a shoe they actually plan to wear. The rep community if anything, actually wears their shoes.

I think for me I’d have to agree with the if you just want the look down and don’t want to spend the money on the real get the fake if it makes you happy. You spend your money on what you like and nobody should tell you what to do. I agree with the fact that if you are gonna get something fake don’t be out here trying to resell it as real. To each is own though, but I definitely like the cheaper alternatives not fake. I think Johnny said how I feel “if you can’t afford it, don’t get it”, but yeah that’s just how I see it. I wouldn't flex fakes of things that are out of my league like gucci, LV, balenciaga etc. things that are normally over 1k+ even though I could afford them by saving money that I earn from my job but I have priorities and would rather spend it else where, where it would benefit me more.. However I buy rep sneakers and will happily tell others if they compliment my fit. shoes that retail for 100-300 then resell for 1k+ because of how limited they are is wack. Cause these big companies like nike, adidas etc. could make collabs and limited sneakers more available. so I don't blame others wanting reps of those shoes because some of them are so beautiful. For me i like sb’s and won’t pay over $250/$300 for a sneaker so my sb’s are UA and on feet u can’t tell at all but my tee’s, hats ect are all real. I’d rather spend my $$ on real estate, vacations vs over priced sneakers. Designer stuff and all the hype is meant to keep us all broke.
The entire point is that it's real and officially licensed. Otherwise, I feel weird as hell putting on some fake stuff. I'd rather just not get it or get something cheaper (but real).

First and foremost let’s get terminology down: they’re both real pieces of clothing. It’s authentic and replica. And now imagine judging someone for wearing a piece of clothing just because “you” paid way to much for said clothing and it looks exactly the same as a piece someone gave 1/3 if not less that “you” did. I use “you” as general. Most just like the way said clothing looks and smart enough not to give 3 times the price. That’s what’s wrong with the culture now too many people feet watching and pocket watching people. Like he said just be honest and don’t sake the replica either shoe or clothing as authentic. And no it’s not taking money from manufacturers cause the authentic usually sale out anyway so they make their money
