I share your complaint about Spotify recommending and playing the same stuff, So ANNOYING! I am seriously considering switching over to Apple Music ?!?!
Welcome back!! As for Apple vs Spotify, I like to mix them up for various reasons. I prefer the Apple UI, sound quality, recommendations, and simplicity, whereas I find that Spotify tends to have more complete discographies (I'm an album guy, so I kinda wanna see everything possible), I enjoy the podcasts, and it's just and easy one for me. Oh, and I REALLY enjoy Apple Music Classical. That app is BOSS.
The main thing thats making me consider switching over to apple music is that Spotify is really annoying with constant UI changes that no one asked for - why did you change the heart to a plus?? 😢
I switched from spotify to youtubemusic mainly because Spotify also played the same songs constantly no matter how hard I tried to change its algorithm it was driving me insane.
Welcome back! Always find your videos quite high quality, you make the products in the videos look better compared to the actual products thanks to the video and colour correction.
I used to switch between both but consistent been on Apple Music now. They finally got everything I wanted on Apple Music that Spotify had for years witch is crossfade! Apple one is a great deal if you have a large group of friends or family you get way more for your money then just Spotify.
Definitely prefer the look and quality of Apple Music. Would love if there was a feature to copy all of your playlists across from Spotify to Apple Music.
Spotify has been getting more and more annoying with repeated songs and so much bloat. The only problem I'm having with apple music is the UI for the library. I don't understand why recently added is the default screen It's not really the place I go looking for music, especially if you're working with playlists it just gets full of random tracks
Welcome back!! It’s good to see you! As for music services, I’m a bit of the odd one out, I’ve been using TH-cam music. I’d say it’s decent at best. The audio quality is meh, the discovery is meh, the app can lag or crash on occasion…. It’s not my favourite. I only have/use it because it’s included with TH-cam premium and I’m too cheap to pay for another dedicated service. Plus, I’ve spent a fair amount of time building likes and other playlists that i really don’t want to move over.
ty for sharing your feedback, tried both and felt I get better music recommendations from youtube autoplay but i’ve been curious to see if anything had improved.
Glad you're well and good to see a new video! After spending time with both services... I just say this every time it comes up now. If we want to use legacy media analogies: Spotify is more like radio, Apple Music is more like a record store. Their UIs are designed around this difference, as is the content. Spotify is all about passive listening - letting the algorithm throw music at you, let it throw adjacent content at you (their Tiktok-esque feed, Podcasts, etc.), and you can like whatever sticks. Its algorithmically generated playlists, I think, are better. You think "Spotify, I want some novelty and some comfort with an energetic vibe", you go to one of its algorithmically generated playlists, and you're sorted out. Apple Music, to me, is much more music focused, rewards me for taking a more active role in discovery, and makes it dramatically easier than Spotify does to actually curate my personal library. A good 1/3 of my Apple Music content is uploaded, and it tidily fits in with the rest of the library. I like that I can open the app and have it just go straight to my Library - no infinite scrolling feeds to dodge, no Joe Rogan Podcast or random audiobooks I've never indicated having any interest in to ignore, just a tidy page of the music in my library, in a much easier to use UI. And I guess to just wear my biases on my sleeve: I'm iffy on Spotify and have a feeling they'll get bought out by a tech giant (I'm guessing Microsoft) within the next few years. You can tell they don't really care about music, because their business model doesn't really let them. If they focus on music, they're losing money like crazy. Hence the emphasis on podcasts, audiobooks, and their infinite scrolling feed to get you "engaging" with new content as often as possible so they can lose money a bit slower. Whenever I use it (I do keep a free tier account handy), it feels like music has been shoved aside in favour of their more profitable content. We'll see if this works for them and if people like it longterm, but I know it isn't for me.
Spotify is a good service, but I prefer everything about Apple Music. The library features (smart playlists, editting tags etc). The interface. The sound quality (even when not on lossless). An additional thing now if you are an aspiring DJ, then Apple Music is now officially supported in Djay Pro. Even in recommendations, Spotify used to be better, but I fully agree, Spotify recommendations are really not as good as they used to be, I find a lot more new music on Apple Music. When it comes to podcasts, I really don't mind if they are in the same or different app, although the Spotify app does feel more cluttered. Even having a separate Classical music app is cool if you are into that kind of music.
Glad to hear you found a medication that’s helping! I’m just such a power user of Spotify. The interface, options, shared playlist, and family controls are so great I have no reason to switch!
Welcome back 🙌🏻 Apple is infinitely nicer to use and feels way more album oriented, I also love that the music videos are included on the artist page. Spotify definitely has more of a gross big tech hyper dopamine type vibe, which has absolutely worked on me unfortunately 😆
Hey, good to see you back. I would suggest you to try TH-cam music also for few months and then you can compare it with Apple music/Spotify. I personally feel that TH-cam music can give a good competition to both of them.
I loved Spotify especially because of the playlist. However now that so many people in my circle have an iPhone it benefits me to have Apple Music to share music and receive music as well
Awesome video! How did you migrate from spotify to apple music? I have over 3k songs and all the migration apps I found limit you to 200-300 songs. I wish there was a native solution apple offered like when you can migrate from android to iphone. It’s frustrating because I don’t want to pay some random app just to keep my own music and don’t want to give them 3rd party access to both my Spotify and Apple Music. This is literally the only reason I have never made the switch.
I found all of this switching from Spotify to AM. Clean interface and the recommendations are better. Emo ftw and great content. Only just found your channel.
Did you go asmr transfer gender on male to female perspective of the female and the female who lives on the iwiwioweooii to see what you are like and long sketch short I’m saying Squidward fan is my mascot and my and then I
I'm back, and it feels fantastic!
Welcome back. It's been nice to see you again!
Welcome baaaack! Been a while. Missed you!

Try Songshift - it does just that! I paid for a monthly subscription, did all the work in 1 week and cancelled it. Totally worth it

Happy to have you back. the apple creator sphere hasnt felt the same without your quality content.

BuB!!! I love your videos!! Always good to come across you!! Always love the new changes in look! Too cool! ❤
welcome back! are you using an iPhone 11 or 12?
Thank you! And it's a lilac iPhone 12!
I went also in the loop where spotify doesn’t suggest new songs for me which is frustrating!!
Will give apple music a try again after 2 years.
Glad you're well and good to see a new video!

You look healthy and happy and that’s all that counts. Being back on TH-cam is just a bonus!! Great to see you!!

A little bit off-topic, but is that a Mous Clarity case in your video? How do you like it?

Why the need to comment- you are supporting them coming back by watching their videos and commenting. You aren’t holding a strong argument mate-
Cringe
