Yes, works great on the bicycle…BUT, I suggest a strong mount made out of aluminum or steel. The first time I tried it with a basic plastic mount it snapped off.
Thanks a lot, good review. But two questions: It seemed to me that the timelapse with the keyframe stops within was not that steady, it was a bit shaky. Is that normal? And is it not necessary to adjust the camera to the gimble like one has to do with normal gimbals and bigger cameras? Is it really just put it in, fix it with the strap and ready?
That Timelapse was done on a very windy day so some ‘extra’ movement was recorded. And yes, with my GoPro 8, I just strap it in and turn it on and it automatically balances.
Thanks for the interesting review. I also have the same gimble. A good gimbal, however, when turned on, does not maintain the horizon very smoothly; it needs to be adjusted. Adjustment via an application on a smartphone allows you to set the horizon exactly, but each subsequent switching on, despite saving the results in the application, is again a lottery: a little, but it deviates. But so far there is nothing better or more convenient on the market for GoPro in terms of miniature size and functionality.
you might want to reset the device by pressing a button inside a hole near two USB charger ports. use paper clip and hold the button pressed for 5-6 secs
mine stopped working after almost exactly one year after purchase, so warranty expired. fortunately, hohem support offered free repair on their shenzhen factory
I really wish it had tracking, therefore i might get the Ohem MT-2 but its so bulky😢. I was to utilize the gimbal for a phone as well. Thanks great review!
Very good review your the first i have seen mounting it on a bicycle im going to try on motorbike with automatic pan 360
