I can't believe they don't sin the fact that Mumble never loses his baby fluff for the ENTIRE FILM

It's just to make him easy to tell apart from the others. Also there is more white around his face which makes it easier to show emotion, since normally their eyes are almost all black and the feathers around their eyes is also black.
I thought that was intentional to suggest that his growth was a bit stunted from being dropped in the snow as an egg

On the contrary, when I think of this movie, I first think about the live-action stuff and the climate change message. When I rewatched it a few years ago, I sat through over an hour of filler and kept asking myself if I was remembering the right movie. The live-action stuff only came during the last 20 minutes or so.... >_

This movie is actually really deep if you think about it. During a famine, a disabled boy gets ostracized by society, and runs away and meets a group of new ethnically diverse friends. He gets abducted by aliens but gladly escapes after he woos them with his unusual abilities. He then gets together with his society to convince the aliens to take away their famine so they can live happily without starvation. Also, he wins the girl because why not?

It'll still get tighter, the edges of the plastic would still be cutting into the skin more and more over time, this movie made it far less gorey than ingrown collars actually are. I loved Happy Feet when I was younger and just really liked the music... I never noticed anything extremely wrong with it until now, whoops.
This movie sucks. Its full fo cliches, copyrighted songs, plot holes, inconsistent story, a blatant environmental mesage and anti religous propaganda.

Simon Janevic It’s actually cheaper to get live action people though. Personally if I was putting most of my budget into scores of animal models, I would not try to make detailed human models as well. Different story if you are a giant like Disney though.
There are live action humans in plenty of cartoons and animated movies, like the LEGO Movies, and those are great (LEGO Ninjago Movie was OK in my opinion)
When Mumble said "Happy Feet" I thought you would have said 'Roll credits' but you didn't, never thought I'd miss a line before.

This movie messed me up as a kid because I saw the tracker on him at the end and I thought he was a robot for a long time.

The way they created the physique of the females is pretty good in my opinion. They still managed to create a female look while still being able to look like an animal.

they literally have penguin boobs, it looks awkward and weird, and sure it's not as bad as other animated movies at thw time but for a mostly realisticly and excellently animated movie it's just jarring. i'd have preferred they just keep the anatomy normal, it's not rocket science to tell that the one voiced by the girl is the girl and vice versa

Its a great movie about how the world is turning to making " designer babies" where they CRISPR DNA change humans to live longer and have no illnesses. And the ones born naturally work in low end jobs while the genetically changed ones work in Gattaca.
