do u sometimes offer them a gift or something for hosting or is it hard to communicate. Thye probably are happy to host and deny any payments :D
As per recommendation I gave all of the hosts 30-40 manats which is like 16-22 euros. This is regular accommodation/homestay price in Azerbaijan and I wanted to leave them with something :)
