- Lakshadweep islands are India's smallest union territory but they encompass a huge amount of biodiversity and wildlife in them. So much so that Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep islands are the only places in India which are classified as HOPE spots. They are also the place with the lowest crime rate and one of the highest literacy rates in India. Everything was peaceful until a new Lakshadweep administrator Praful K Patel was appointed by the President and things went bad. What exactly were the decisions that he took? I explain in this video along with the administrative structure of Lakshadweep.
