One of my favorite WRs growing up. He's also a fantastic football mind too. I believe he was thee very first one to get on the Cooper Kupp bandwagon when he first came out. If I'm an NFL team, I'd hire Steve Smith Sr as a scout/talent evaluator.
I'm gonna play both sides of this real quick. Clearly Steve's side is very clear, be said some things and wanted to apologize but was met with disrespect and responded in kind.
HOWEVER, you can't drag someone on your show or podcast and then call it "constructive criticism". There was no advice given, there was no attempt to speak with Jeudy befit the comments were made and the only one the apology benefits is Steve Smith. I can understand the mentality of Jeudy that when someone with the amount of credibility says negative things about you in the manner, you don't want to talk to them or be around them. I don't agree with how he went about it.
Steve Smith is a HOFer and WR triple crown winner at only 5'9. This man can criticize any WR he wants to.

Its week 6 of the NFL season 2024 and I can confirm Smith was right. Jeudy is on another team and sucks on my fantasy team which means he sucks in real life because the stats translate. Buddy is either washed or his qb is trash
hes actually been doing fine in terms of fantays for the most weeks. He got the worse QB in the league, nobody on the browns offense is producing a lot of points

No one has a better mindset than Steve Smith. He fought for every accomplishment he earned in his HOF career. Steve is right in calling out all these over-hyped, soft, under-performing tattooed millionaires because they don't want the success he had, they just want the paycheck. Being a first round pick means you'll probably have multiple chances for a good pay day, Smith never had that. He had to earn everything, and a lot of players these days don't have the same grind that made him the best. And even now you can see that it pisses him off to see all the wasted potential. As a Panthers fan, he is undoubtedly the best player we've had in our franchise. Luke Kuechly is a close second

@@jrob4795 Jake Delhomme took us to a Superbowl and we would have won if the Patriots weren't the biggest cheaters in football. Cam Newton was a great player, but not the best in Panther history. He laid an egg in that Superbowl.

Steve Smith Sr. is the best Panther period. 5x Pro Bowl, 2 All Pro, 16 years in the NFL, 8 1000 yard seasons, and the biggest amount of fight in a WR. Cam was a super freak, Steve was a pitbull and he had to fight to be one of the big dogs. He did more with a lot less than Cam did
