God Bless him and all who serve. My son was an Army Ranger. This is a great video on how much goes into the fly over and how it's done so precisely. GO ARMY Beat Navy!
Same here, spent my childhood living on bases. My old man flew medevac helicopters so I gotta grow up hanging out in the hangers. Still can remember that jet fuel smell
In August of 2018, I drove from Joshua Texas to Ft Rucker Alabama to be at my son's graduation from Army Flight School. I was honored to pin on his wings at that ceremony. It was one of the proudest moments of my life. I couldn't help but become filled with pride to the point of tears as I watched this video. Awesome job, Captain Travis Danning! I love you! Dad
Huge thanks to the US Army for their service, and this behind the scenes access to the flyover process. Steve is great in this series, and the flyover feature next level. You could tell the officers were jazzed to have Steve there. Score one for Demon 89!
As a former 15 series in the army it's awesome that he gets to experience not only this experience but army aviation. #Death From Above and Into the Void"
Love watching these Steve. This is by far the best. The respect that our military men & women deserve should be of the highest. So happy you got to have such a great experience. USA USA USA!!!!
It's Good To See Travis Again, Doing So Well Commanding The CH's Out There. His Performance Of Duty Brings Great Credit Upon Him, The "Demon" Aviation Brigade, And The United States Army. Godspeed, Travis.
i've loved the chiefs flyovers my whole life so it was awesome to see a behind the scenes! wish it could've been a stealth bomber i remember the first time i saw one as a kid - we lived near the stadiums and we were on the porch. scared the hell out of me like why is there a massive flying puzzle piece lol
@@Motownsports89 What's a 89B ??? How do you like it at Ft Cavazos ??? Lots of weird things happened on Ft Cavazos, especially when it was Ft Hood. What was going on with your old unit at Ft Riley ???
Steve Smith was a DAWG. yeah he talked alot but he backed it up during the play and inbetween plays when he would manhandle people with 1 arm or push them off with both arms when he was ready to disengage on his own terms. Never seen another receiver like it before. Salute to Steve - Reef of the East on TH-cam
Bet that was an experience of a lifetime for Steve! I guess it's because I really love this country and our Military that flyovers make me well up every time! Go be a hotdog/beer seller Steve!!
Hey Steve, can you get them to add the time you directed the Baltimore Drumline during that Sunday Night win over Buffalo? Since I'm a Ravens fan, I'd really to see the behind the scenes of how you got to direct those guys and I still remember your 3 final years in Baltimore, especially your revenge game back in '14.
Veteran here. If you plan on joining the military for college benefits know that if you go to school online you only get HALF of allowances and have to serve a certain amount of time to get GI bill. Joing cause your heart is in it and stay true to justice
I wanna join just for the benefits like 90% of the man and woman. And than hopefully try to fraud the VA for more benefits like other military members. *
Good idea, this series has been so interesting and so well done, there are soooo many aspects to working for nfl teams and nfl games. It’s cool to see!
It’s always funny how famous people get the special treatment when it come to flights and other things when our own vets wouldn’t get the same treatment
it is a big deal for us Yanks also because it is illegal for the military to be on the streets or really showing battle readiness in public. so we think it's cool, too!!! I guess this kind of thing or national disasters is an exception
Yep for real for real , the military manufacturing machine charges 40 million for a Blackhawk helicopter. Elon Musk would probably build it for 5 million 🤔 the only difference is all the Congress and senators and the speaker of the House wouldn't get their kickbacks ..
SO PROUD OF MY BROTHER!!! He is one of the pilots. God Bless all our troops.

Army brat here. Nothing like a military plane or chopper flying overhead. Brings back so many memories.
Where are some areas near a lake I can move to ? 😉

Just awesome...
That was my first duty station. 2011
REALLY ??? What was your mos and how did you like it there ???
@kerry-j4m I'm still an 89B. Currently at Fort Cavazos. I liked Fort Riley because of the area. My company, not so much though.

@kerry-j4m Ammunition specialist.
It alright. I'm in an ABCT, so lots of training.
@kerry-j4m I didn't like the way the 1sg and company commander ran the company

Steve lowkey gives of 20 year vet soldier vibes 😂
The army does aviation the best. 160th are the best pilots in the world.
Fly Army!!! Hooah!!!
I'm laughing at the image of an Apache crew calmly smokin' bad guys while listening to talk AM radio.
There is NO WAY I'm sitting on the edge of that helicopter like that with just a little strap connected to me lol!!!
Knew it was gonna be a Chiefs flyover! We are spoiled with flyovers at Arrowhead.
I see that 160th patch 😤
Awesome!!!!!!!!
Proud to be a 15Tango... for now :)
The army loves there patches and coins lol I hate that I never got an Air Force patch when we flew with them on a C17.
You alls PAO is putting in some work, bravo. First RDC, now armed forces? 💯💯
That is sick.

Steve is a mans man!
Fun fact: I fueled up helicopters at one point of my service in the army…fun times
Wow, about how much fuel do they hold?
About 1100 gallons or 6800 pounds…the pilots request the fuel in pounds and we did the math to convert it to gallons
Go drum with the Niner Noise Drumline!
Good stuff
Steve smith joins the Marines Next????

@@Notifications_off69 Agreed.

Ward Carrol does a breakdown on his TH-cam channel on how much trouble a pilot can get into if they break protocol of the flyover. It’s interesting.
Shout out to the Big Red One

No one’s gonna talk about CWO Kydd’s delta patch? 😅 2:39

"Are you allowed to listen to music when you're flying these things?"
Chief: *Awkward laughter because he's being filmed*

How do you top that?
$ 40 million dollars for one bird ??? I didn't know they were that expensive.
