      I left it may, APC rang when they issued the RG to notify me that when the pay review happened I would receive a further payment for the difference

    Quality mate, thank you. I have heard people talk about the "half pension" and you ask them to expand on it and they have no clue! Scoff house gen.

    Great video thanks 👍 For some up to date information regarding when you receive the resettlement grant... i have just seen my final payslip, disappointingly, there is no resettlement grant payment. I left the Army on the 13th of Oct 24. I'll give it another month before I start pestering people. If it's not in my bank by christmas, im sending the bailiffs 😂

      I don't believe it comes in your final payslip but instead is a separate payment that happens within 30 days of your final day in service.

    Great Video. just a question ? - if you are eligible for EDP after leaving the forces, then what grant are you entitled to in your last year ?

    • @thesavvysquaddie
      @thesavvysquaddie  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You would not receive any grant as the EDP has a tax free lump sum payable when you leave.

    As a re-joiner, who is getting out again, I’ve had absolutely no direction at all. Not just with this but with anything so thanks for this.
    Also, once the form has been completed on JPA, is that all you need to do? Then just waiting out for the payment?

    • @thesavvysquaddie
      @thesavvysquaddie  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, once complete then within 31 days of leaving you should receive it providing you meet the eligiblity criteria.

    If I transfer from regs to reserves after my 12 year point will I be able to fill that form out to get the grant? Or do I need to sign off get out then join the reserves? Thanks

    Cheers for the video,
    I assume it doesn't have to be 12 years straight through?
    For example if you serve 4 years, get out and re-join, and serve 8 years. Will that count as the 12 years?
    Also, if you have filled in the Pen 1 form wrong, and didn't tick that box, can you re do the form after it's been submitted?

    • @thesavvysquaddie
      @thesavvysquaddie  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Normally as long as your break in service was less than 5 years then you should be okay. Best bet for a confirmed answer would be to reach out to JPAC. Details can be found on Gov website.
      As for the Pen 1, submitting it again should override the previous one.
