- The latest Easter Egg for Battlefield 2042 summons a Sharknado, here's how to complete it step by step.

Tutorial from Dedzigs:
Make sure you have a friend on the enemy side.
Host (AA34G2) experience with faster redeploys and movement speed.
Check the raining variant beach for sign and buoy, reset the map if they are not present.
Start with radio pick up and return to beach.
Follow the video and pick up all laptops.
After picking up all four laptops, enter the sequence code (1 3 2 3 1 3)
Enter the water and receive a melee takedown 3~5 times.
And then, if you have done everything correctly, you will receive a “Shark Bait” tag and a “Sharknado” will appear!
Update:
The full laptop sequence code is (1 3 2 3 1 3), the laptops has 6 code attempts and you will see it flash twice to indicate a code reset.
Confirmed by several big Easter Egg hunters that you need the “Franky the Shark” weapon charm from previous Easter Eggs to unlock the reward tag.
Make sure your friend joins you via the Portal server browser instead of joining via the friends list, otherwise he will be joined in the same squad and team side.
A couple of useful tips would be to use Mackay when picking up laptops in hard to reach places and when doing melee takedowns switching to Recon specialist and putting down the insertion beacon at the beach.

Is it true that the stabber needs the franky charm? I tried it with my friend twice and, got the buoy to blink but the stabbing in the water didnt work for us. We tried it about 10 minutes straight with at least 20 take downs :/

Thanks for making the walkthrough but I wish it was an easier Easter egg to do, then it could be enjoyed in a match. Also I'm surprised you didn't put a spawn beacon down to get to the beach faster lol
yeah another squaddie did eventually I just cut out the spawns :P

It looks cool but I would rather just play the game rather than chase things around just to watch sharks in a tornado. That's just me not huge fans of Easter eggs unless they are tipping something off for future content or the next game.
At least we now have the reason why it took so long. Until they were able to push out content....
