I'm glad I somehow stumbled upon your video here. I love watching these flight report videos. Some run through the videos too quickly, but I like seeing some airport experience before and or after the flight. So far only one other I follow who does this.
Hi, it's really awesome that you enjoyed these types of videos and at the same time I also really enjoyed making these videos as well, thank you so much for your kind comments and thank you so much for watching, have a wonderful day, @TheCAG1976
Great video! It's funny that this was recommended to me because I actually got on this plane right after you on its journey back to Seoul on August 10th!
It that water from the engine? I just love engine roar , I did travel on Dreamliner this month AA Lhr to phl was awesome I did try dimming the window ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. Thanks for sharing
Hello! Thank you so much for watching~ The water-like vortex that you see was actually air, it's generated by the vortex generators mounted on the engine nacelles. It looks like a shark fin. In situations where an aircraft is operating at high angles of attack, such as during takeoff rotation or when nearing an aerodynamic stall, the substantial engine nacelles found on modern planes can create significant disruptions in the airflow over the wings. To mitigate this issue, vortex generators are commonly installed on the inner or fuselage-facing side of the engine nacelles. These vortex generators serve to redirect the airflow in the area between the engine and the fuselage, effectively reducing the airflow separation that can occur due to the presence of these large engine nacelles during high-angle-of-attack flight conditions And the windows, oh my, it's one of my favorite feature of the boeing 787, it allows you to look out without having the light to penetrate through the cabin, which is just tech-wise amazing!
next year.. my first time traveling abroad. How do I dispose of the items provided on the plane after using (blankets, headphones, toothbrushes)? Do I have to bring my toothbrush? Do I have to leave my blanket on the plane?😢 sorry My weird question
for blanket and pillow, you leave it on the plane yes. For headphone, the cabin crew will collect them before landing. For toothbrushes and other amenities you can take them with you and no, you don't have to bring your toothbrush. thank you for watching and hope you have a great trip 👍
Thank you for watching~! Yes it does have the Ac power outlet beneath your seat (2 per 3 seats), and a usb port below the tv screen, on my outbound flight from dallas to seoul I used it to charge my camera as well! Happy travel!
Hi, yes 36A and 36J does have a decent view, the view will be directly above the wing. However, the window might not be parallel to where your head lie on the seat, so you might have to lean a little bit to look out the window. There's also another one behind you but your seat will block that window. Thanks for watching!
It depends on what time is your layover in seoul, my flight landed at around 7am so there was little to no traffic in security, so it only took me 15 minutes to go from the previous flight to the next one Again thanks for watching!
@@WhoKnowsWhy25 not sure about this neither, but i suspect it's not too bad since seoul airport security is generally fast, at 40 minutes at worst for my experience
Hello, Legroom-wise, you will be fine, Korean Air typically has good legrooms on their aircraft. However, the width might be a problem, especially on their 787 aircraft (because of the abreast 3x3x3) only have 17-17.5' width, so you might feel cramped. The seat, it's comfortable overall for me, I have no issue sleeping on these seats, Thank you for watching, cheer!
Hi there! so we had a total of 4 checked bag in total for our family for weight, I actually went above 23kg (exactly 23.20kg) for 1st bag, 22.90kg for 2nd, 22.7kg for third, and 23.20 for last, and they didn't charge me anything As for customer service wise, they were friendly and kind, but were quite slow (I checked in in Ho Chi Minh city and connect flight to Dallas from Seoul), but not too slow if you travel alone and have baggages exceed more than free allowance, they might be strict and charge between $100-200 or more, so just be careful here is the website for baggage information, I found it was quite helpful upgradedpoints.com/travel/airlines/korean-air-baggage-fees/ you can also check their own baggage calculator at www.koreanair.com/airport/baggage/baggage-calculator for more information Otherwise, thank you so much for watching, and see you next time, cheer!
@@duaneowens7777 oh wow, so if you usually check overweight baggage without having to pay the fee, I think the staff are pretty lenient with baggage over couple weight
