I really hate that this happened in the same episode as the katherine stuff because somehow anyone who could have been there for her wasn't. Not even Alex which surprised me.
I have a thought for how the show should end... mer dies but her ghost walks through the hospital one last time. She will walk through every floor and she will see all the patients that’s died in those rooms who meant a lot to her. Ex. Mark Sloan, Her mom, Bonnie, Elizabeth Fallon (the scrub nurse), George adel. She walks around and goes into the intern locker rooms and we see all the memories that were made there. Her mom, Ellis is waiting for her outside the hospital. She hugs her and says “you are anything but ordinary!” Then mer walks to joe’s and sees Derek waiting for her in the seat where they met. Then mer sees Lexi, Susan, Mark and everyone waiting for her in the afterlife. EVERYONE WHO DIED COMES BACK TO SEE HER IN HER AFTERLIFE!
the only thing that makes me angry about this whole storyline is that while we all know this storyline clearly wasn’t thought of before this episode, why did the writers decided that richard knew that thatcher had been trying all along? That richard never bothered to tell meredith? Who gave him the right to wait until he was on his death bed to make her go to him? He flew overnight to be there for derek’s funeral! He knew it was not his place to intrude on her life now, it had been too long but richard should have known and done better. It makes me angry bc yet again richard’s decision robbed meredith of year she could have had with thatcher. It wasn’t up to him to keep it from her. Derek died years before this, she could have had more time. I think the writers shouldn’t have said that richard knew all this time. It makes me angry at his character
People Meredith has lost or no longer sees: Her mom, Izzie, George, Her Dad, Her sister, Her “stepmom”, Her baby (miscarriage), Derek, Mark, Arizona, Callie, Riggs, etc.
Meredith has lost so many people Cristina, Alex, Izzy, gorge, her mum, Lexie, Derek, mark, Callie, her dad and meany more the are not all dead but she's strong
Honestly I think all of the deaths had made Meredith rely on the people who she trusts and meets, like her friends, her half sister Maggie, and sister in law Amelia. I think that's one really positive thing that these deaths have had on her.
This scene really shows how much Meredith has grown. In the beginning, she would have let him die and not care. That’s character growth. Also, was I the only person who didn’t really get that emotional when Lexie died? I was late to Grey’s so I knew how and when she died, but wasn’t really effected. I was more of, ‘oh, she’s dead. Next episode.’
So Meredith has lost her mother ,dog, father , sister , step mother ,Husband , ex bestriend (George) and has been left by Alex , Izzie and Christina. She has faced an attack , a bomb , a shooting and a drowning ,a miscarriage, a plane crash , prison and coronavirus. She is a god....
During that episode Richard toad Meredith to go visit her father because he didn't have much time and also Molly just left she have to fly back home to be with her husband and kids .
I feel bad for Thatcher. He deserves to be act like an asshole. All he's been through. He lost Ellis, even before she died, he lost her to Richard. He lost Meredith since Ellis took her. He lost his wife, the mother of Lexie Grey. He even lost Lexie herself. All this and then he finds out Ellis and Richard had a baby he didn't know about.
Thatcher did reach out, Mer was just so broken and lost at the time that she didn't knew. I'm not sure if it's a lost opportunity, but it's such a loss. They could've had really reunited and bonded.
Why do I not remember watching this episode I think it kept playing when I fell asleep and all this time I thought I watched all of greys. It’s ok cuz I’m watching it again!!!🤪
Lexi is now the sister of another over achiever. The first one was a well envied doctor and now she is the shadow of another “Super” sister. That’s no pressure. (Sarcasm.)
I honestly think Webber should have been the one to tell him. But that’s a remarkable response to the news. Truly shows what he said in the rest of the scene was true. He’d moved on from holding on to pain.
these comments… i miss Lexie too but i didn’t realize so much of the fandom hated Maggie she’s a sweetheart ❤ yeah she’s sensitive and annoying sometimes but i love that about Maggie and sometimes Meredith needs that
guess i have something to look forward to... to see thatcher become this man. i didn´t expect him to react in that way when he learns that his wife and richard had a child together
I still don’t understand why Ellis got to keep Meredith when she left her with Thatcher all the time and seemed to really resent being a mother? I do wonder how different Meredith would be as a character if Thatcher actually fought for her and took her to live with him and his new wife.
I would have loved this scene. Seriously. But Lexie is mentioned too seldomly. Mark too. Would Der and Mer never have talked about their sister and brother, honestly? And Mer would have been sweet here. But answering "I know how much she meant to you" with "I have another sister" DOES sound like a replacement. Why does she always sound so cold? Why can we not get ONE time a warm scene about Lexie and Mark? And no, Maggie would have not come around: Maybe it's just visible if you don't actually watch the show - but the scenes I have seen till now, are ridiculous. This doesn't happen to ANY person. The characters being killed off and replaced like this. How long is this supposed to go on? another 20 years?

Meredith has lost so many people Cristina, Alex, Izzy, gorge, her mum, Lexie, Derek, mark, Callie, her dad and meany more the are not all dead but she's strong
Man, I miss Lexie so so much.
Lol Cy, is that u? Karma finally catchin up with u 😂
PS i know its a different character.
No there's a lot like that like the one who say derek died wasn't sad
So Meredith has lost her mother ,dog, father , sister , step mother ,Husband , ex bestriend (George) and has been left by Alex , Izzie and Christina. She has faced an attack , a bomb , a shooting and a drowning ,a miscarriage, a plane crash , prison and coronavirus. She is a god....
Wat about Molly the other sister
So when is this coming to Netflix???
Why do I not remember watching this episode I think it kept playing when I fell asleep and all this time I thought I watched all of greys. It’s ok cuz I’m watching it again!!!🤪
Lexi is now the sister of another over achiever. The first one was a well envied doctor and now she is the shadow of another “Super” sister. That’s no pressure. (Sarcasm.)
I got weird vibes from the background song it’s like he was going to send someone to murder maggie
Theresa B dude same!!
I honestly think Webber should have been the one to tell him. But that’s a remarkable response to the news. Truly shows what he said in the rest of the scene was true. He’d moved on from holding on to pain.
I think lexi and maggie would have considered each other as sisters.
Petra Morgan they are not related right?!
@@originalsomecloud3349 neither are maggie and amelia, but they call each other sisters.
"I'm sorry you lost her" I'm not crying your crying!
Trying to find clip about porch swing, he stuck a bolt in it so she would not pinch fingers...
He sounds so much like George in this clip
Bastard slapped her after abandoning her as a child. No sympathy for him whatsoever.
Now Scandal is over and he’s back playing her father . Not that he was much of a father to her . Richard was more of a father to Mer.
Richard is the reason why Meredith and her Thatcher didn't have a relationship. Richard looked after Meredith out of guilt not obligation.
I miss lexie too😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Where is Molly during this?
He said " you and molly were never close" he said were meaning something happened to her?
these comments… i miss Lexie too but i didn’t realize so much of the fandom hated Maggie she’s a sweetheart ❤ yeah she’s sensitive and annoying sometimes but i love that about Maggie and sometimes Meredith needs that
does anyone ever think about how amazing maggie and cristinas relationship would be
I completely forgot about this!!!!
GODDAMMIT I miss Lexie Grey😭😭
Where can I watch the Old Greys? Coz there’s no season 3 on netflix just 1,2 and 12,13,14

Janina Lyka Amboy Aww man that sucks
Have u tried deleting the app and getting it back
Maybe it was a glitch
Thatcher Grey or Cyrus Beene? HMMMM🤔🤔 I wonder which one was awesome
Teniola Akeredolu-Ale either way they are both ruthless 😂
This is so heart breaking after Derek's death💔💔💔
What’s the song in the background ?
guess i have something to look forward to... to see thatcher become this man. i didn´t expect him to react in that way when he learns that his wife and richard had a child together
Beware of Cyrus, Mer, he's a monster
I still don’t understand why Ellis got to keep Meredith when she left her with Thatcher all the time and seemed to really resent being a mother? I do wonder how different Meredith would be as a character if Thatcher actually fought for her and took her to live with him and his new wife.

Is the episode already out?
Iris white it’s on abc app I believe is what we’ve been using
I would have loved this scene.
Completely agree👍
I feel so bad for Mer, she really did went through some rough time...
