Took me some time to actually understand this, like yeah I never hated myself but I was never ok by myself. Definitely working on it.

Apart from wanting a coffee now 😂. I think I needed to hear this today. I have a love/hate relationship with myself. Mainly because I'm a goddamn people pleaser and it's screws me over a lot.
However, I've been working on myself for five years, to get to a place you are talking about and I get it, letting people go sadly isn't that hard for me, if I'm done I'm done 😂. But I've recently learned that I'm a chameleon in the way that i will be what anyone wants me to be. Hope that makes sense.
A friend needs a therapist that's me, a party girl, or whoever anyone wants and it's mentally draining 😢. So you can just imagine my social anxiety 😅.
Oooh. Maybe you could find something in my ramble for a future coffee talk. 😂 does people pleasing affect mental health? Hmmm. I guess it does in my life.
Thought your talk was very insightful. 😊

You're saying that to just the right person! I was a heavy people pleaser most of my life. I definitely understand and relate to everything you said 🤌 A very valid potential future subject, thank you so much

I'm really glad you took the time to write this. It being a new format, I wasn't sure about it all. Thank you for the great confirmation 😊

Strangely enough, my partner is the one that opened my eyes to start accepting certain parts that I did not accept before I met him. He is really helping me grow. Not going into detail but it's thanks to him that I did not give up =) He is THE BEST! ♥ And he is helping me become the best version of me. Always thought that was cliché but it's true!

I definitely struggle a lot with settling boundaries with others, especially my partners.
I would if you could offer some more advice on this?

I most definitely can bring more advice about boundaries in future videos 😊

Yes, yes and yes! This is amazing, as always, and words that needs to be heard loud and clear for everyone that is not being kind to themselves, especially myself. 😅

As long as the words find the ears that need to hear them, I'm happy with my part 😊

Why do you call her your current partner.
Partner sounds like business and current sounds temporary

@@jasonk2947 I think it comes from the fact that I've talked about previous partners as well in past videos and audios and my ADHD brain likes to make sure that it's clear I'm talking about her when I am 😅
