One of the best quotes I’ve ever heard about introverts is this: being an introvert has to do with how you charge, not how you drive!

      @Dziwils_Gh หลายเดือนก่อน +14

@@shyguyguyx3886 Being an introvert isn’t about your personality or how you act socially, but rather about how you regain energy. Introverts recharge through quiet, reflective, or solitary activities, while extroverts recharge through social interactions. Basically introversion is about energy management, not social ability or enthusiasm.

    - usually it not about being introvert, but rather fear of rejection, anxiety of meeting other people and saying something stupid
-to counter rejection, desenthesize yourself to it,try to get rejected
    - meet new people,at first say hi and go on your own, then hi hellow how are then add compliment then ask questions and you wint feel anxiety around new people
    - no one is perfect, everyone are going about their problems, ups and downs, you dont have to be perfect
    - dont one up, first ask 3 follow up questions then share your similar but "better" experience

As an introvert, I was so quiet as a child my parents put me in a summer camp that taught social skills. One task was complimenting people and then took it further asking where they find the item.. but never tried a yes/no question. I'm calm now at 44 and crack jokes with strangers. I still have trouble organizing my thoughts to talk to a group of people. I notice I do better winging things things of ideas and not sentence structure.. and its ok to pause and search for words. To take it slow. My ears still get red and hot when I'm caught off guard in a large group.

Such great advice! 🙌 as a child I was a mime..didnt say much..just observed..then as a teen I started to speak up and being in a strict religious family I got "grounded alot" and in trouble..then as an adult I started not to give as many f@#£ in a respectful way of me just standing up for myself, my values, my personal beliefs.. clesrly that caused friction for some and acceptance for others.. this life ISNT about "People Pleasing"..its about valuing the one person that is always there for you..thick & thin..YOU! The one running the show and in charge of your own happiness..dont care so much what other say Butt manuering through "how' to say it...Vinh sounds like an amazing mentor to listen to. ❤✌️ Your awesome!

I used to think i am an introvert but in reality the thing that is holding me back when i talk to people sharing my thoughts,my perspective towards the things i got the fear of rejection from them and sometimes just ignore my own thoughts 💭.
I think your method is the best just practice to get rejected so that you can express your true self not the one that other want .
I am going to try it and i hope so i will get better at it with the time as value progress over perfection.

Interesting point about nervousness when talking and your mind taking over how you come across. In my experience, it seems to be because i care too much. About the topic, about the outcome, about how im perceived.
I've had situations where at work I was kind of fed up with everything and didn't care that much anymore. Anytime I was in that mind set and I had 'important' meetings, my speech was much better and I very much noticed i was much more convincing and powerful bringing my point across. As a result, I get taken into more important projects and i am starting to care more about it again. As a direct result, my next meetings / discussions i was back at my 'base' level and lost my ability to be that convincing. I am very much convinced its due to the stress level and what you find important.
Weird how communication / your brain works sometimes

I just followed you in Facebook (via FB Suggestion in news feed) and so I find you in TH-cam, (and then I subscribe) just today but I got a bunch of eye-opening inputs to consider starting to level up my communication skills.🙏🙏
      Thank youuu, truly☺️🏆🏆
(but for me, I am a hyper person, and I was like always high pitch or very energetic voice, I wanted to learn to modulate my voice depending on the need, and really practice oral (English).
      Thanks.

I tried it this morning, just me in the house talking to myself. After a few minutes, i had brain rush, headache, and had to go to sleep😊😅😅😅. It felt strange and exhausting.

Absolutely love your videos!! It would be nice to have your views on this, whenever we are talking to people one on one or in small groups, how to avoid the "Can you please repeat that" or "Didn't understand what you said there"

One upping, squashes others doesnt give a great feeling .. giving space for their experience, give support and enthusiasm for them, follwed by sharing your own experience give room for you both.
