Somebody stole the car from "Back To The Future", used it to go 50 years back, bought a brand new 10-10, brought it back to 2023 for Donny to port it! ;) Happy new year!
I'm sure you bumped into Don Hayes on Chilliwack, I flew out of there to the Charlottes and Rivers, Harrison he was my go to guy for saws, when they weren't supplied by F,&G
I have a 110 low hours set for years did carb rebuild thought I had it ran good for a few tanka then started smoking on and of and running erratic like it burning bar oil . oil pump bad?
Happy New Year! The 10-10 looks like it was restored at some point and not factory new to me??? Either way...it will be a screamer with your magic done to it!👍👍
Wow that’s a beauty 10-10!! I don’t know what it is that’s so fascinating about these old power saws that were once popular for getting firewood but there’s just something about what once was I guess. It’s just great to get them running. And they built them to last!!! Just got another old Pioneer 14-20 65cc reed valve and the rubber fuel lines are actually still good and the saw looks like It sat in a barn since the 70’s has turkey 💩 all over it.😂 😂 Love to hear some stories on that saw if you have any I think they were only made the one year though 1966.
Several years back a mom and pop hardware store was going out of business in my town. The owner had a brand new 10-10 from the mid '70s for sale at the checkout counter. It had been stored in the attic all those decades! Rare for sure these days though!
Happy New Year Mr Walker! That 10-10 looks great! I have one of those Mini-Mac 35's too, it's a nice little saw. Broke the chain brake on it, so sadly it's sitting right now, but it runs great! Take care everyone! Much Love from Northern Alberta!
It's a pro Mac 10/10/1980 model. It's got the Down exhaust pipe. It's got spark and it's got very, very great compression. A cylinder's super mint. A guy gave it to me. But you tell me what's wrong with it. This is my first time getting into McCullough the pro. Mac series. I've got 2 of them now. It's got like a little bit of a misfire. I mean, soon you pick up on the throttle. It doesn't want to stay out of them. It doesn't want to rev with the throttle. This doesn't make any sense. Every time I touch the throttle, it cuts off in a vogues
So I have the last model 1980 model pro. Mac ten ten of the seventy nine series with a downpipe and there's something wrong with it.I don't know if you can figure it out
Happy new year’s Don and your family wishing you healthy and happiness and joy year

My Dad and I used several 10-10s and 6-10s in the woods in Montana before the saws had chainbrakes. Good old saws, they cut a lot of firewood.
Nice Mac's I love mine. That 1010 is a beauty
All the best for 2023 Donny good health and strength to you 💪

Wow, good looking Mac saw. I am sure there are a couple of them like that around somewhere but the question is WHERE?
