@@Senshi00 thats the point, the archetype released last year, got 2 waves of support and it did absolutely nothing, while Fiendsmith hasn't even been released and it is already miles better than it with half the amount of cards
It was actually weird that it had an actual set strategy of kill by 9k through an upstart and then the second wave came out and made everything make less sense.
Quite promising yes. It's basically tier 0 now.

The fact they don’t have restrictions really is gonna be a problem eventually. The level 6 searching the token spell sanctus gives you an 1 card high king caesar and neither card locks you into fiends
It's 1 card high king plus link 2. And it doesn't take your normal

It'll be interesting, though with this archetype as a starter you can't search for your other fiends since it limits searches to light in particular. Unchained is multiple attributes and none of them are light.
Everything that likes Beatrice or Nib protection is gonna love this engine

This is nice and all, but there were announcements recently that Musketeers and a couple others are getting high rarity reprints. And now they recieved indirect support. Guess who else got those reprints: THUNDER DRAGONS ARE BACK BABY, LETS GOOOOOOO! (but please keep colossus locked up).

I really like this trend of the searcher being a fusion spell in gy, probably the best thing they can do for fusion decks without having it becoming another branded style dies to ash deck, but with infinitely less support

You can combine the Magical Musketeer with Fiendsmith and a small Yubel package designed to bring out the Yubel promo so we can negate Ash Blossom and force Max to go off.

This engine is insane and will be abused by a lot of decks, maybe a comback of B.A.S.E.D with a lot of different engines.
But there are 2 decks that benefit way more then the others from this new support: Lightsworn and unchained.
In unchained is crazy good, this deck need consistency and an out to nib and this that sum caeasr before the 5 summon and ss 2 fiend to go for yama is too good.
In lightsworn there is a rank 6 that mill 5 and the new lightsworn which is really good is a fiend light. Lightsworn from the synchro 8 can make full combo ls+fiendsmith without even start with fiend smith cards. Synchro 8 send fiend+lumina, reborna lumina and lumina Reborn the fiend to go into link 1 fiendsmith
Fiends have received so much support lately that I'm surprised a Fiend Link deck hasn't been discovered yet.

When the worst card of the archetype is a "searchable trap card that can nuke the board and can banished itself from grave to send the big fusion directly to the grave for another send 1" you know the archetype is good.
Josh. With the Fusion monster. If your opponent stacks a chain with multiple face-up cards you can add the Fusion to end of the chain to negate multiple cards. It will definitely come up when you play into fields or when your opponent is trying to break your field.

Tho you didn't say it this time, I was waiting for this video just to repeat something you said some months ago: bonus effects when you go 2nd are too cool and this archetype has plenty of them. Outside of the game, Tractus being LITERALLY Ground Xeno but BETTER is absurd for the price it will reach...
I hate when they make new archtypes that HAVE to be mixed with other decks to pop off i want them to be good by themselves off rip and its a bonus to mix not a must hopefully its not to dependent on other decks

just gave yubel EZ wave high king caesar and only need Sharvara. Yubel deck will be EXTREMELY consistent after LEDE & Phantom of Yubel drop. Turn 1 board looking nice

If Fiendsmith is gonna do much, there is gonna need to be new waves of support to other synergistic decks, or they other new LIGHT Fiend archetypes.
Coz right now your options are:
- Some Fabled
- Magical Musket
- Vanity’s
- Archfiend Eccentrick
- Evil Twin Kisi-Kil and Evil Twin Trouble Sunny.
- Some Kuriboh retrains
Orcust works well with it. Can make chaos angel too

so at what point are we gonna make based 2. a 1 card no locks engine that makes a rank 6 including but not limited to double summon negation. based was fine and all but what if we instead play a deck of 50 1 card engines and 10 bricks. all we need is something that makes a level 3 0 atk tuner of varying attributes and types a 1 card combo and where set for the next goat format where staple turbo is the meta

@@Xero-rr2ol don't underestimate the Lady of the eternal so much. Being a quick effect and having 2 uses makes her better than Lavalval.
Also with Bystials etc lvl6 monsters have some powerful bodies to enable rank6 toolbox. It's not as bad as Master Rule 3 (where rank 4 was at its peak)

Finally Beatrice becomes bannable.
It's a really strong set of cards. Perhaps too strong even. There should have been some Fiend-locks because as-is, literally every Deck can now make Beatrice or Caesar without using up their Normal and without any locks. Legitimately the only thing holding back the busted Rank 6s were that they really don't have a generic way to access them and now they do.
Also, the Trap is really good disruption. You just have to time the use of it well to get the most out of it and preferably use it after the Dies Ires negate. Like Vanquish Soul has proved, a normal trap that can nuke the board does win games when played right
Trap is good, but it will probably be a consistent part of the endboard after the second wave of support
The trap is good but with only 1 searcher you gonna search for another cards most of the times for the combo.

Oh yeah I forgot about that part. Still, it might be worth keeping it as a 1-of since it doesn't hurt opening with it or if it becomes convenient to add to your hand if you open up with the other pieces of the engine

I think it’s promising for sure, but one main deck monster is pretty lame. Then again, Sinful Spoils only has one monster total, and that archetype is loved just for its synergy with other engines.
I came back from three months later and now this engine is causing a lot of people to lose faith in the game due to how cracked these cards are.
First since old Yubel and Evil Eyes that I've been so excited for a fiend archetype

Going 2nd Fiendsmith/Musketeer might be nuts , link into the vrains ,then go into max , then max effect , then u can use max as the material for Fiendsmith Link, then go into fusions , not bad

Also, being a free Caesar before 5 summons and with no restrictions is kinda insane imo
The level 6 by itself is a generic 1 card Beatrice or Wave King that doesnt take your normal summon or lock you into anything btw. This is gonna see a lot of generic play.

I was testing a small engine of this in purrely for the lols. 3 Fiendsmith, 1 sanctus, 1 requiem and 1 wave high king caesar. 2 extra interuptions on a normal purrely endboard.
Edit: Can side a beatrice, transaction rollback and the shiranui trap for a turn skip. So they stop the turn skip and you just play normal purrely.
