    Get the Dyson Cyclone V10: geni.us/SuGPUpo
    Dyson just launched its brand new Cyclone V10 cordless vacuum, and it's the most powerful vacuum Dyson has ever made. The V10 is Dyson's smallest, lightest, most powerful motor yet and took more than five years to develop this latest iteration. Despite the V10 motor being 40% smaller, it's much more powerful spinning over 125,000rpm.
    In this Dyson Cyclone V10 review, I give you a look at how it works, and why this is the best cordless vacuum 2018 has to offer. In fact, the Dyson Cyclone V10 is the vacuum that convinced Dyson that it no longer needed to invest in producing new upright vacuum cleaner models.
    Some of the Dyson Cyclone V10 features:
    New format with bin rotated 90 degrees combined with the powerful V10 motor has allowed us to create suction power that matches an upright machine
    Newly designed user interface located on the battery pack signals if there is a blockage or if it's time to wash the filter.
    Charges in 3.5 hours compared to 5 hours with the V8.
    The washable filter is now only one piece which makes it even easier to clean. No longer two separate filters to clean.
    The new bin in the V10 is 40% larger than the V8 Absolute cord-free vacuum.
    The new bin orientation makes it much easier to eject dust and debris from the bin into your garbage.
    Balanced in your hand - you can reach under low furniture or reach up high.
    New: three power modes to choose from to suit any task on any floor type.

    Well, I was anti Dyson for a looong time. I just recently purchased the V10 Absolute and I really like it. For my kitchen and dining room tile areas I used to have the Ergorapido...that one died within a year, but it was a nice vacuum. I have a ProTeam upright that I've had for about 12 years, which I really love and I still use that for the carpeted bedroom areas. It is a corded vacuum but was leaving my baseboards black from the cord being pulled around. We replaced a bunch of carpet with engineered wood flooring and I refinished the baseboards. Now that they were nice and white I decided to give the Dyson a try. It's so convenient to pull out the Dyson and vacuum the hard floors. I ordered the Dyson directly from Dyson and paid a little over $500, which is still ALOT of money. (I would never have paid $700). It came with a dock and a bunch of other attachments. There are certain things I find irritating though, which is changing the attachments, especially the floor head because there's no easy way to get it off without putting the whole thing down since you have to press the button to release the head. Also when laying the Dyson down to get under furniture the canister gets in the way. I debated returning it, but my hubby really likes the convenience of it...and I do too. I have never run into the problem of my battery dying while cleaning. My house is approximately 2400 sq ft. I tested it after a full charge, vacuuming tile, wood and carpeted flooring on middle speed.

    Our Dyson Vacuum has changed my life. I thought we had a decent machine but for years - decades - I have suffered with endless congestion and nasal issues. My wife got a Dyson - it's easy and almost fun to use - and I swear my issues - which turned out to be dust allergies - are basically gone. I vac 2-3 times a week and it's interesting to see the transparent dust canister which shows you all the bad stuff you won't be breathing in. We have an old house and in the spring and fall there is a ton of dreck.
    I'm not lying, but this thing has really changed my life. My only regret is we didn't buy one 20 years ago.

    Why does every vacuum review focus on picking up big bits off smooth flooring(eg. cereal off of hardwood there) which has always been trivially easy to do(with or without a vacuum), instead of carpets full of dust and long hairs which either clog the brush instantly or don't get picked up at all?

    • @melh8179

      Paraprax I find vacuums pick up off carpets wayyyyy easier than off my hard wood! That’s the true test to me! If a vacuum can actually pick up particles off hard wood!

      Can confirm. hair gets intertwined all around the brush, and clogs the head. When this happens the filter light blinks and u think the filter needs to get washed. Filter smells like mould even if u put it out in the sun to dry and is still damp after 48 hours. It’s more trouble that it’s worth... too high maintenance.

    I have a filter queen that i paid close to 2k for a few years back. It's so cumbersome , awkward with the cords, and heavy as well . I been neglecting my vacuuming duties because of these road blocks. The last cpl years , I been thinking about the Dysonfor but after paying 2k for a filter queen It was difficult to buy another not to mention I'm a little stubborn as well .I just got the v8. It's so perfect in almost every way except for the battery life . I used to vacuumed once a week b4 . Now that I have easy access to vacuuming , I vacuum every 2nd day . Im amazed with the amount of dust the v8 collects every time. I didnt realize there was that much dust. My house feels so much fresher and breathable now. I'm so glad i got this machine it is truly hygienic. I'll get the cyclone after my v8s battery starts to fade maybe there will be a newer version when that happens. Best vacuum in the world . I even talked 3 of my friends into getting one. They constantly thank me and have been recommending it to their friends too.

    I vacuum everyday, and I have the V6 cordless. When I do replace it, it will be with another Dyson cordless. I've owned Dyson's for over twenty years and I think they are the best.

    • @alanyu7732
      @alanyu7732 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wait, do you have carpets. I think you should invest in an upright too. See no matter what a brand claims, no cordless in this day and age can come anywhere close to the pick up power of an upright and the embedded coarse sand and flour test proves that. I would get the Dyson Ball Animal as your main unit you use around your home 2-4 times a month and the Dyson V7 Absolute as your vacuum for everyday messes.

    • @itsacarolbthing5221
      @itsacarolbthing5221 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alan Yu yes, I have a Dyson animal upright. Not the ball one, though. I do use the upright occasionally, but I honestly couldn't manage without the cordless.

    Truly the best vacuum I've ever owned! I vacuumed my 8x10 area rug and the canister was more than 1/2 full. My home is very clean, but the suction power is so amazing,, and the cordless feature enabled me to vacuum my whole whole in a short period of time. Worth buying for sure!

    Is great ,I see It in action but is a hi price considering the lot of Dyson copies that there are on the market there are Dyson styles ,mimics of Dyson, all around Amazon and the reviews of many of those copies of Dyson styles are almost 5 starts according to the consumers .,i'm still checking to make a decision of what I will buy for this christmas .
    ….And I think that Dyson will need to add leds to the front of the floor brush and not for been cool is that is very useful under the bed ,closet and dark areas of your home I have an old cordless Electrolux Ergorápido with leds and really do the job,trust me.

    A great cleaner, but one that, according to the downloaded V10 instructions, cannot be used on certain types of carpets - and these would come under the loop pile range. The supplied brush bar head for carpets could cause fraying of the tops of the loops, where what you collect in the bin might well be a considerable amount of carpet fibre along with the dust.

      I think inbuilt batteries allow the engineers to build an interface that is more balanced and space-efficient. Basically everything in that cannister is compact and safe from your meddling. If iPhones had exchangeable batteries, they would not only be thicker and heavier, but look uglier.
      Now, a vacuum does not need to look cool, but Dyson always wants to look slick. I think the 1 hour operation time is very adequate for medium sized homes. Unless you live in a 4 storey bungalow or mansion, an hour is usually enough for your daily or weekly cleaning. If you were going to vacuum all the furnitures too, then pick a specific day to do so. I very much like that its hassle free and i do not need to find a spot to charge other batteries for it. Just minimal clutter. Minimal wiring.

    V8 vs V10
    --------------------------------
    AW = power of suction
    V8 has 2 modes: Normal (28AW) & High (115AW)
    V10 has 3 modes: low(12AW) - normal (33AW) - high (~130AW)
    --------------------------------------
    Lets compare runtime:
    ------------without motorized brush ------------------
    V8:
    Normal: 40mins (28AW)
    High: 7mins
    V10:
    Low: 60mins
    Normal:35Mins (33AW)
    High: 7mins
    ------------with motorized brush ------------------
    V8:
    Normal: 25mins (28AW)
    High: 7mins
    V10:
    Low: 35mins
    Normal:20Mins (33AW)
    High: 7mins
    ---------------------------------------------
    =========================
    Warning do not use docking charger! while battery is hot (wait a least 10mins let it cool before charging it) or your battery will die in few months.. This is how Li-ion batteries work.

    A perspective on the price of these stopped me in my tracks. I pictured 50 of these, then pictured a Tesla Model 3. You would pay the same for either. I'm still coming to grips with that!

    Please help!
    I have contacted Dyson to help me fix my V-10.
    This is the second time that I have had a problem with this Dyson product within a year!
    The V10 filter indicator comes on and refuses to go off even after fitting a new and clean filter. (We have two filters. )
    It had even been sent to the official Dyson Service Centre in Delhi to be fixed just a few months after it was purchased.
    Unfortunately, the same problem has resurfaced.
    We feel that we have been given a faulty piece.
    I hope Dyson resolves this!

    Still waiting for dyson to make a vaccuum head that switches between floor and carpet. All my rooms have a mixture of both so switching heads each time is a no no for me.

    It seems like every major TH-cam tech channel received their sponsored Dyson vacuum today and posted the videos at around the same time. LOL
    Anyway, as expected for a Dyson and a $700 one, this looks really amazing.
    Too bad I can't afford Dyson vacuums. T_T
    I vacuum my home at least 3 times a week, regardless of being dirty or not. If it's dirty, then of course, I'll clean up more.

    I have a dyson absolute v8. I waited ages for it to go on sale before I purchased it. I do not buy things that have just launched. I always wait and do my research for months even. It’s brilliant. Worth the wait.
    Got fantastic suction power, can vacuum every day if I want because it’s cordless and has never run out of battery. I suppose it’s because my apartment never gets that dirty. However, I would not buy the V10 as I can only assume that it is exactly like the V8 but longer battery life. But as I said, I never run the battery flat so why pay over the double asking price. I would rather get the broom out and sweep.

      Aliexpress 6000mah v8 battery $69, 12 sony li-ion instead of OEM 2800mah 6 batteries, works super well, doesnt get hot, and gives 10 extra minutes,3 screws to change out 30 seconds EZPZ.

      If your apartment has carpeting, I would run out to get a full size corded upright (preferably the Dyson Ball Animal) to use for your main clean 2-4 times a month. Don't be under the illusion that the V8 can clean as well as a full size. In facts, tests like the embedded dirt test says it can't come anywhere near. The V8 however is good for everyday quick cleaning.

    • @alanyu7732
      @alanyu7732 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you have lots of carpet? I would get a full size corded upright vacuum to vacuum 2-4 times a month. No robot or cordless vacuum is ever going to stack up with the performance of uprights overall. Despite their claims, the reality is they fall short. The Roomba 980 only does a so so job at removing embedded coarse sand and flour and the V10 can't deep clean carpets even on boost mode (which you only get 6 minutes of BTW), because the suction and brush bar power is not there yet.

    • @mamaboocee
      @mamaboocee 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Forget the rhoomba. This vacuum is so easy and fast, light and convenient, you won't need the rhoomba. You will actually love vacuuming. Take from me who cleaned house, offices and banks for a living. I just spent 10 minutes vacuuming what used to take me 45 minutes with a hoover. And I got about 3 times as much dirt off the floors and carpet. You will NEVER want a different vacuum again. This is TWO years after this video review. We have a rhoomba. It just sits in the corner, now. Not needed. And way to inconvenient to clean- whereas the Dyson is a snap to clean! This thing is awesome! Well worth the price! Do not fall for look-alike models from other manufacturers- they do not do what this Dyson does!

    • @mamaboocee
      @mamaboocee 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alanyu7732 sorry, this one does BETTER than ANY upright I have ever used in my house-cleaning and office-cleaning career! And it has every convenience to take care of any complaint you may have had with any upright.

    I love Dyson, that was until I was having a challenge with my very old upright. I was told by Dyson they could not service or repair it. Now you want me to drop $700 and within a few years Dyson will tell me and others they can not service or repair it. Wanting and expecting me to buy another one! For the amount of money I spent on service and repair I could have purchased 2 from another brand. Like I mentioned, love the vacuum but not going to get taken any longer!

    • @alanyu7732
      @alanyu7732 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you have lots of carpets? The V8 isn't going to be enough. A carpeted home that has lots of traffic means having a full size corded upright is mandatory, because you need that deep down clean 2-4 times a month. The V8 or V10 isn't gonna cut it. No cordless can stack up against uprights for embedded dirt. I just had to spread this information, because it seems like this country is ridded with lazy people who are all about robot and cordless and it kind of irritates me, because they don't do anywhere as good of a job, but these people (not you) are under the illusion that it is and that it's enough and truth be told, it's low key frightening.
