Rahul Brahmin Clearly. The typical loud, arrogant and ignorant New Yorker. I've seen too many of them. But people surprisingly seem blind to her arrogance. Maybe how she speaks doesn't translate well to the typical Indian culture and all they notice is her accent and the fact that she's a foreigner in India.

I think Niranjan was actually nervous while talking to her & I felt like he felt he got a little offended when she was putting India down a little. But I really love how candid and raw she was. You rarely see that in interviews with stars.

she is literally so real, I will be honest I didn't like her earlier (prob cuz I was jealous of her good looks) but I just felt that she just wasn't the greatest actress... Niranjan did not know what questions to ask her. His mind is completely short circuited by someone who refused to be a show poney and is clearly doing things for herself and do not give a damn about make belief! He was out of his depth and failed to recognise how awesome that woman is

Brutally honest and epitomé of humility & non pretentiousness … respect Nargis's transparency as well as immensely admire the fact that she lives in sheer reality , is sincerely acceptable of her humble background and struggling childhood . This interview may not be the typical artificially sugar coated ( like several other ) & politically correct but is definitely amazingly genuine and hence a breath of fresh air …

The interviewer shouldve let her elaborate on how Ranbir and Imtiaz left her in the dark after doing the film. But the interviewer is obviously biased to gossip girl Ranbir, who apparently hit on her too, lol!
She is an outsider and completely out of the culture so what she takes you should all realise what the industry is like inside from her perspective. It isnt the culture she hates its the Bollywood work culture she hates and has had a bad experience.
Just goes to show when she talks about Uday how he is a genuinely good human being but the industry laughs at him because he wasnt successful in movies, thats some truth right there. The industry chews you up and disposes of you if your not serving them.

Let the whole world know, Nargis experience growing up, is exactly what a low middle class growing up is in North America, Nargis proudly represented her experiences which are very very inspirational for youth of any country specially India. People who are born in the Western part of the world, or let me say young teens over there start becoming so mindful of what they want and when parents can't give the stuff they want they just go out and work for it without having any restriction of thoughts about the job being big or small they just do it to get their stuff by earning for it. Love you Nargis, you have a heart and beautiful soul, Congrats!! Unlike us or we the desi/Indians, even if we are a lower middle class family our Parents think its shameful for Teens to take up petty jobs, I mean which is not really hard labor. Nargis put it so well I wish we Indians had this kinda gut and speaking abilities.
Anyways she is happy and knows to be happy.. she's not beating shit around. Only one thing that bothered me about Nargis is when; she was talking about sanity rules that we(Indians) don't follow, i may be wrong here but i felt she generalized that about Indians not being hygienic. Nargis I want to say that please don't believe that we Indians don't wash up after restroom activities, 'cause we do!! not everyone may be hygienic, it really depends on the upbringing of the person.. but I Love you for being honest and speaking straight thru your heart.. lots of Love, Good-luck and Respect to you pretty girl.

Akash Sahota it’s not called criticizing because she’s spitting the truth lol. She wasn’t even being rude, she sounds like any other person would if they’re plucked out of their comfort zone and be thrown into a completely different country where they’re foreign to something as essential as the language. And she’s arrogant/rude when she was genuinely warm towards her director and costar and they don’t even give a shit about her after the movie is over?? India is far from being a perfect country and you people need to get the hell over it and own up to its faults if you want things to better
