Good work Sir, I can relate in many ways to your story. I'm from old school and to the find the new generations have absorbed the knowledge and respect of the old and finding new visions and ideas evolving through the new generation I'm impressed and inspired for the future. Thank you🙏

I met a lot of B.S teachers in my 40 years, Joseph Bautista is a true educator of FMA. He has vision. This is the first time I seen a school like his. I wish he was around when I was a kid.

We've known Joseph for over 12 years, and he is definitely progressive in his ways of teaching and promoting the art on top of community/culture relationships.

Teaching the youth is what keeps the art going, but also educating them on the culture and history is just as important.

Great to see you guys doing videos again. This is great, Legacy is teaching the next generation of FMA to youth. Really like that they’re adding the cultural education to their program as well.

It's definitely a different approach in education and program. Something we haven't seen in other FMA schools/or groups. Adding the history and culture courses as well as basic first aid makes them well rounded. They also have elements of a community center for the Filipino and Fil/American community.

    • @FMAPulse

We all do, especially 1st generation Filipinos that feel like they wanna connect through their culture in a different fashion. Outside of the cultural events, there's something else one gets out of training FMA if the cultural history and traditions are taught along side it.

@@FMAPulse can't wait to meet you all fantastic people. Italy is pretty dry in matter of FMA. Zero culture behind it. Can you imagine that it has been, for many years, registered as a "Wing Chun derivation art?" :((( hopefully things will change in the future! One day, i'd love to have a place like this one that Joseph has!
      Cheers guys!

I do fma and love it.😉 I even teach it. I meant germanys own legacy and heritage. IMO i don't like this topic at all. My grandfather was a Nazi and i don't want to be proud about it or hope that anything is being inherited from him. My origin says nothing about who and what i am and i am proud about that fact. Cheers.

To timestamp 12:20 A friend of mine is Filipino with his own Family style and everytime he hears heritage and legacy he is rolling his eyes. His words not Mine:"WE were Pirates. We stole everything. We stole every technique and made it ours. So rebranding something back as fma is like proclaiming something as fma that was stolen before anyway."
      Not mine words. His.
