Eventually we want to cover all the instructors within Derobio. Maestro Alvin said there are 5 main Derobio groups. So far we've interviewed GM Dan Medina (Derobio Majapai) , Senior Master Chief Chaz Siangco (Pulahan-Derobio).
Great stories and histories coming from the Bay Area. Looking forward to seeing more lineage holders from there. Awesome work FMA Pulse, pugay Maestro Albano. ⚔️ 👍🏽😎
More to come! There's so much rich history in the Bay for Filipinos in America. Not just FMA but the biggest migration of Filipinos and Fil/Ams in the united states.
I am a great fan of Derobio Escrima. Just last week I ordered 'The secret art of Derobio Escrima' by your featured instructor GM Dan Medina. Keep up the good work FPM Pulsers❣ PS It is interesting to note that many Philippino teachers learn the art in the US.
Thanks for the support Mako. Based on the history, the early eskrimadors that were able to come to the States were the ones to help propagate the art. The early pioneers landed in Hawaii (GGM Floro Villabrille & GGM Braulio Pedoy) and California (GGM Angel Cabales, GGM Leo Giron and GM Max Sarmiento). It was there that it started to spread to the future generations of Filipino Americans.
Thanks, feel free to reach out to Maestro Albano via one of his social media outlets (info in the description box). I'm sure everyone can find a way to train with each other.
@@FMAPulse sure thing! And thank you! It's both me(Enrico Beltrotti) and Mr. Claudio Albanese. We always go together. We are both within Covert Expertise :)
Lots of Respect.

Awesome to see Derobio expanding from Hawaii to the mainland. Looking forward to seeing more from this group.
