We visited Ladakh a few weeks ago on a Deadliest Roads episode. We’re here again with Amazing Quests. What a spectacular place. The people we talk to and learn about: Dhorgi the Buddhist nun who is studying medicine to be able to offer medical care to her village, Nangiel the truck driver who brings supplies to the remotest valleys of Ladakh and Stanching Gorday in Gya who is helping his village by teaching them and helping them preserve traditions.

(ENGLISH) SIDEWAY SLEEPING VS GRANNY METHOD
Chronic patient died not due to vaccine but vaccine cannot help their aged organ, till could function like nornal.
Who not fear of dying after age reached 60 since vaccine cannot rejuvenate your organ or function at high capacity, during covid infection.
The actual meaning of chronic diseases or sickness related to human organ, nothing about weak immune system.
Method to counter covid indeed exist, just avoid using oxygen tank, when having difficulty breathing.
This due to human still can breath using only one lungs during sideway sleeping.
Cos one of your lungs would be conpressed by body weight and alternate, if one side congessed, so you still can breath after the compressed lungs expanded again.
Yet this method cannot be use, if the deteriorating organ were your lungs. Since your lungs already facing problem, you need to use granny method to counter covid or force the disease change behavior, that exist in my vk profile (link provided below)
CONCLUSION
You still have a choice, if your lungs were healthy. Cos sideway sleeping only can kill you, if your lungs forced to operate separately or at high capacity even your plane left engine, occasionally would emit black smoke.
SHORTNESS OF BREATH
This symptom related to covid patient or how deep you inhale cannot end.
Why? Cos your lungs capacity only left 50% or your inhalation only reach halfway since something eating space in your lungs till nothing can enter anymore even how deep you imhale unless air inside your lungs released 1st, so inhalation process can repeat.
The main reason, why the patient breathing, looks kind of short.
Cos shortness of breath were different compared to difficulty breathing suffered by elders since muscle pulling their lungs during breathing were getting old and need oxygen tank for support. The reason, why coma patients need the hose be pulled before can die.

But why covid patient not needed to pull hose?
Cos difficulty breathing have two type, whereby shortness of breath should use sideway sleeping since the lungs always be compressed during changeover, forcing out whatever congested inside.

After visiting Ladakh so many times , this documentary feels like the best representation of the people and the incredible place that is Ladakh.
This documentary warms my heart, as it reminds me that there are people who continue to live humble lives, contributing to the balance of the world. I'm genuinely touched and inspired by Gorday’s sister, who exudes warmth, humility, and sweetness. I hope to have the opportunity to meet her one day.
Hope India keeps Ladhak as-is with minimal development but providing basic health, education and protection of land, environment and culture. It is a balancing act. Thank you for this awesome documentary.
Possible if domestic tourist, with no regard to environmental concern, stop coming from rest of the India to destroy Ladakh.
@@Samurai-ke5ie True. Tourism should be highly regulated to preserve the environment. Higher fee, lottery system should help like they do in Bhutan and other places that are sensitive, as deemed by the states.

Ind had kept all those places as pristine as possible. Unfortunately China with no regard for nature has destroyed most places & has militarized entire Tibetean plateau. India has no choice but to develop these border regions..
you should bring your own hometown back to under-developed before making suggestion to other regions.

I first heard about Ladakh in an anthropology course. We watched a movie about the perfectly balanced division of labor between all the members of a village. Everyone took turns watching children. But, then, a road was built connecting Ladakh to the rest of India. Everything changed with that one road. It brought western items like music, blue jeans, and to get those, the young people went to work and left the villages. The division of labor broke down, and those remaining were breaking under the burden. It makes me wonder, this chasing revenue streams into every crevasse of civilization. I see with modernization hints of social class are evident: I went to college, so I don't want to be a Sheppard. That is what capitalism does. It wasn't a foregone conclusion that a society would have castes or classes. Some places were simply communitarian where everyone worked to achieve goals together like harvesting produce or caring for sheep or children. I love what Ladakh was, and still will be for awhile longer until modernization overcomes the appreciation of simplicity. It is on my short list of places I would love to see. Cheers to the Ladakhi documentarian. Can't think of a better way to live a modern life.

@@luciddoggo5094I'm an "un-privileged" person from a third world country and I agree with the sentiment of the original commenter and see it applying to my and several other societies. And that's even operating under the assumption that modernization and westernization always brings about wealth to a land, which it doesn't, a lot of the time does the opposite in fact. And some of the times when it does technically bring about wealth, it only does so to the highest classes of society largely at the expense of the rest of the population (can attest to that in my own country). Financial institutions will tout the success of "developing" a country, for example, by showing off newly-built businesses and fancy buildings, conveniently hiding that those are only in one section of the city that just the ultra-rich can afford, while the majority of people are pushed into slums as their traditional means of cultivation and trade from the native land was destroyed in the name of building roads and factories.

Wisdom of that kid will literally encourage me to go out and research this religion further because although I'm atheist there's still a lot of wisdom to be found in religion and this kid has just made me want to see what kind of religion develops this kind of kid or maybe he's just an amazing kid. So beautiful, seeing such landscapes and the sweet people that live there, sometimes makes me cry. As did this one. The Videographer and his Sister the Shepherd, it was beautiful ! I hope that someone else wants to be a shepherd. This was one of my favorite Docs.
That smile on old mom's face is precious than any other thing in this world.
I love her. She’s so proud of her son and seems happy. I imagined myself up there with her, helping out and just wondered what that’d be like up in that beautiful landscape.
No matter how we live... the propose is same just 2live peace n happy.. ...This Himalayan peoples hav no complaints n no higher demands ...they just manage 2b happy in every situation....

Thank you very much for showing me a people in a different world from mine. Different as it may be, everyone loves his home, the land where he was born. Unfortunately all traditions will change or be forgotten as the whole scene of the world we live in, changes. Maybe they don't understand why the climate is changing, why there are now floods every year, or why there are fewer and fewer traditional doctors.
Hopefully the films Stanching makes, will document the lives they once knew in Ladakh.
I did not understand his sister's song at the end, but I know it says something beautiful !

One of the most beautiful documentaries I have seen about Ladakh and its people. Many years ago I tried to get there from Srinagar in Kashmir, but sadly the road was snowbound.

Fabulous documentary FD, I like very much the innocence of Stanzin's sister, its heartwarming especially to see her pure love and affection to these animals even in this age. FD make doc on Zanskar and kargil region of ladakh they are also very beautiful and rich in traditional values and heritage.

Ladakh has changed a lot in every aspect. I went there in 2012 and last year as well. The video starts with a festival at Hemis Monastery 2016. So it must be in between my trips.

Now it's China's Tibet.

This kid that's about 9 minutes into the movie teaching you know the younger kids Kung Fu is more wise and worldly than many 56-year-olds could hope to be! I know it's a possible this is just been pumped into his head but it's also possible that this is what happens when you encourage free thinking and real growth for all! It was kind of an uplifting thing to hear him talk

Words can't express how beautiful this place is both in scenery and its people. I so wish I could visit on holiday or even stay
I´d like to visit Ladakh and see the splendid views of the mountains with my own eyes as well as meet this amazing people who provide for everything what they need in this harsh environment. Everything there is covered in sand and rocks and it is hard for me to understand, how they can be self-sufficient.
