Hello, we do have videos on warm up and cool down routine but separately. Warm up - th-cam.com/video/IDjWoSPV6ok/w-d-xo.html Cool down - th-cam.com/video/_MoszEiAvfM/w-d-xo.html&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE
Great, but spending additional 30 to 45 mins for stretching beyond scheduled 1hr run/strength training timings is the biggest challenge. Either one tends to get compromised.
With due respect Dushyant sir, Before doing actual training session we should do Dynamic stretching... After the session cool down and then do static stretching.. Doing static stretching in cold muscles leads to injury in long run
Sir, hum July mein Amarnath Yatra ke liye paidal nikal rahen hai, aur humne sirf isse pehle sirf kedarnath Tak hi trek Kiya tha, kaam k chalte hum log workout nahi kar pate.... Hume kya karna chaiye is do mahine mein prepare hone k liye... please describe
I am aged 80 and want to do trekking and also a follower of your channel.l would like to substitute continuous running to some other exercise which please suggest . I am from kolkata .
Hi, If you have done treks before and consistently follow a fitness routine, you can go ahead with trekking. For our trekkers above the age of 50, we recomend brisk walking. It would be good if you can cover 5 km in 45 mins. You can also add one 10 km long walk, once a week. Furthermore, if you choose to trek with Indiahikes, we would require you to get a TMT test done.
Can this stretches be done before and after the part that includes strengthening of muscles said in the fitness routine of a different video given by u?
Hi Dushyant , Thank you for uploading this video. I have already done a trek with Indiahikes .I need some suggestions from you , I can spare only around 1 hour from my daily routine for exercise. So what you suggests, whether I should go for gym or running or yoga/stretches to remain fit for trekking.
@Dushyant Sharma Hey Dushyant, Is there any specific exercise I need to do if I want to carry my backpack? How should I prepare so that I can complete the trek with ease wearing my backpack?
Me 800 km padal yatra krne vala hu to uske liye muje konsa bag Lena chahiye or kitne ltr ka Lena chahiye meri madad kre pls🙏 Or koi dusre khas tipps ho mere liye to vo bhi bataye pls.
Your stretching exercises gave really helped me. I am able to fast walk uphill and also jog without any post exercise pains. Otherwise I used to wake up in nights with severe knee pain. Thank you Dushyanth
Hi Dushyant... I want to go for a trek deoriatal soon in November....Being a pahadi i have never had any big issue while trekking...however due to past 4 months i have been facing planter fasciitis issue on my right leg.... Any specific exercise u suggest for this or any specific gears should i take with me... I still have some months to prepare on my body.. could you plz suggest something for me..
Jitne stretch btaye wo static stretch krna h ya dynamic stretch ?.. kyu ki static stretch m muscle ko hold rkhna padhta h 15 to 60second jis s muscle relax ho jata hai?...
I am going to Amarnath Yatr 19 july 2024 and my age is 55 year for this can i running .15 days i am going daily walking about 3 kilometere please guide me
Can u suggest some more exercises for IT band syndrome. Last year I planned for Bramhatal Trek but at the last moment I had to cancel the trek due to the pain in IT Band. This year in summer, I did Har Ki Dun trek and I successfully completed but the first day was very painful. Now I registered for the Ali bedni Bugyal Trek through IndiaHikes in January. I am little worried about the same problem.
Hi Dushyant , thanks for the video . I am 50 plus , but I want to trek . My fitness routine is twice a week whole body gym , twice a week yoga , one day 5 km jog and 1 day hill hike . One day rest . Is it enough for basic level Himalayan trek . Thanks
Hi Vidya, This is good for a trek like Dayara Bugyal. What you should focus on is building your Cardiovascular endurance. We would recommend giving us a call and having a chat with us so we can give you more personal guidance. Get in touch with us 080 468 01269.
@Dushyant Sharma I regret. Its tibialis anterior muscle. I am facing ache in this muscle as I was climbing 75 floors everyday during lockdown. But now due to strain in this muscle can climb or trek.
Hello! Incase we do these stretches at home and then start running by going downstairs directly to a park, does that work? It means having a gap for 5-7 min between stretch and run? Can we start with just 20 min of run to start with as a beginner? Our park has a concrete track, is that ok?
Hi Simran, Yes, it is totally fine to have some gap between stretches and your run. The duration and timing of your run depend on which trek you are preparing for. Consistency is more important during your trek preparation. Even if you start with a 20-minute run, by the end of two weeks if you are able to progress to 35 minutes or 5 kilometers in terms of distance, then it is still okay. Please get in touch with us through Instagram or email to info@indiahikes.com if you have more questions about your fitness preparation.
I do not run but Cover 8 km in 90 mins in thrice in a week And 5 km in 45 mins , 4 times in a week Please tell me ...is it a sufficient preparation before trekking ?
I have a question. I walk 500 metres backwards every day uphill. It works out my lower body, right from my toes, calves, knees, thighs and stomach. I do this in combination with walking, surya namaskar and plank. Does it help?

Isme har stretch k kitne reps krne hote hai ya kitne time tak ek stretch hold krna hota h?
Hi Abhishek. Aap running/trekking ke baad har stretch ko 5-10 seconds tak hold karenge toh kafi hoga.
@@Indiahikes thanks. I thought ye stretches exercise se pahle krne h
