Today i am continuing my yearly audit of my coloring books which involves re-writing the list in a brand new journal and going through each book to make sure I have the finished page count right and that I want to keep the book in my collection.
Today is STEP 3 - We have finished entering the color by number books are starting the regular coloring books!! And I make some destashing decisions..

This is so fun and inspiring! My husband said last night, "Are you really enjoying watching someone just setting up and writing in a journal?" Absolutely! There's so much more to it. Thank you for the share! PS - I love the sound of Jack snoring. I love it when my dog snores.
hahahaha! Yeah we definitely are a niche group aren't we?? It's hard to explain to the muggles LOL I love this community so much! And we should do a dueling snoring vid hahahaha

Fun video! Thanks for the company while I lay on the sofa recovering. I like the Tim Foley book as well. I think I’d use distressed ink in that book.

I bought my first bullet journal today! 🎉 I am not going to inventory all my books but I wanna do my own Ruby Charm creative companion 😅 too ambitious over here but we’re gonna try. I HATE the paper in the Ruby Charm books so I don’t grab that book. 📚 So I went shopping for stickers today and it made my day. I only own the stickers of 2 year old 😂 Thanks for sharing!
PERRRRFECT!!!!!! Sticker shopping is SO SO fun!! And then peeling them and putting them in a journal?? Chef's kiss!!! The best! I cannot WAIT to see the creative companion that you make. You will be able to make it just exactly how you want on the paper you want. How exciting!!!! BIG hugs my friend

Wow, thank you. I feel like I really got to know you by watching that video. I actually put the umuzaki on my wish list, and the dracula book and the exploratorium book. I keep a coloring book log too, I have the colorists companion by ava Browne which has a log in the front. Appreciate the video very much.
That's a really nice log book! The Dracula one is so nice! Really good paper and images that scream for whatever you want to do with it. Doodle Robot did a really wonderful job on the page she calls "the orgy page"...the one with the guy and all the vampiresses in bed. She actually made it look like a bloody coffee ring was on the paper!!!
@@HappyCatastrophy Wow, I'll have to take a look. I found it on Amazon I think but not thrift books. I have a collection of vampire books from Marty Noble, Jade Summer and maybe others.
I kept waiting for you to add your new color by number book in, then realized you probably filmed this b4. I am enjoying watching your progress, and am thinking about making one 4 myself. But did you tell us why you keep track of the # of pages? Do you compare them year over year?
yes!!! I did film this before receiving that wonderful gift! But you reminded me to add it so I will in my next video! This transition period is always a little sketchy ...trying not to miss anything. I don't compare but I like to track how many pages I've done in a book. Then I can look through the inventory book and quickly see how many pages I've done in a book...especially if I've done NO pages in a book. At a glance, I can see what books I'm working in a lot and which have only a few pages and which are still untouched. I try to give them all love. Also I like to make hashmarks. LOL
I am absolutly loving these videos, i have a question about the tweezers. where did you get them i think they would great for my mum for her sticker books
I can't quite remember where I bought them but if you search "reverse tweezers" you can find plenty. I just searched Amazon and didn't see these exact kind but I did find a lot on there. They are wonderful for stickers!! They take a bit of learning time because we are so used to squeezing to close not open. But once you retrain your hands to squeeze to open, they are a gem! They work like a third hand.
