When I take my dogs in the truck with me I always keep a couple gallons of water and a large wide shallow bowl in the truck because if they have plenty of water it helps them cool off when the weather is hot. Damp towels for their feet and to lay on also helps to cool them. I saw that jug on your front seat, I guess you do the same.

I really enjoyed this one, Kevin. Been waiting a few days to see it. I loved the horse sculptures, would love to have all of that in my yard! Thanks for the tour of the place that had the three wheelers, bikes, etc.
oh and I almost forgot froggtoggs chillypad chillytowel and their other cooling products work amazingly well Walmart has a knock off that works almost as well but the ones by Frogg Toggs really don't feel wet to the touch and they keep you cool for hours I've had one for myself for about 4 years and last year because we didn't leave until the start of August I ended up buying them for all three of the dogs as well and they really seem to enjoy them well BooBoo and Sierra did Kenya didn't like it I don't know she's weird but when it got really hot she would let me lay it on top of her

Thanks for the ride along with the babies. Bob Wells said the next RTR is being moved to across the street from where the host lives. There is more space there, and less of a drive to get to it which should make it easier on the bigger rigs.

There will be a new spot next year for the 2019 RTR. BLM has found a better & bigger site. Still trying to find out where the new spot will be. More to come.

Location of RTR is right by the camp host tent where the American flag is at the same spot in scaddan wash. You do not have to go down that bumpy road anymore. It is right behind the camp host station where the billboard is..

A little suggestion on 4 wheeling. Lower tire pressure to 15 to 20 lbs. Smoother ride,easier on tires, and wider footprint.

around the same time the LTVA raps in Arizona the LTVA in eastern central California opens up........ it's a little more expensive it goes from April to October for $300 and instead of dispersed camping they have 4 designated campgrounds people pop back and forth between. Three of them down on the Owens Valley which is still around 5,000 foot so it's nice April May maybe even June then people go up to the Crowley Lake LTVA during July and August it's a couple thousand foot higher so the temperature stay real nice even in the middle of summer usually 70s and 80s and then they head back down into the Owens Valley for September and October the LTVA permit allows you to move between them at your own leisure most powerful just go with the weather. And even though it cost a little bit more than the Quartzsite ltva you get your own actual site with a picnic table and the fire pit Vault toilet access to drinking water and I think they even have dump stations for septic I know they have trash cans......... I've gone out there many Summers and I've never actually used the ltva kampgrounds because there's so many other good free camping options nearby.... but a lot of people like being able to jump around between those for designated campgrounds and have their own site and access to all those amenities....... and there's so much stuff to do on Highway 5 between Lone Pine and Topaz Lake at the Nevada border I've gone out there 6 out of the last 9 years and barely scratched the surface the desert and the high elevation mountains come together right there so one minute you can be out in the sagebrush and 10 minutes later you can be up in a forested Alpine Lake

Black shirt hot hot get yourself a light color and it well be cooler, so they say.. Yes love the metal work. Just awesome to look at. And it is starting to look warmer. The wind never stops. The flower you showed the locals called buggy whip cactus. They used it to make fence around there yard or enclosure which kept animals out or in. Also on roof of shelter to give shade from the sun. You should see more and more flowering cactus now that it is April. thanks for sharing, even the old cars. Bye

RTR still in Quartzsite. I wish Bob would change it to the desert around Yuma. Quartzsite people really don't like us, it's extremely difficult to get mail, stores are meager and expensive and the tax is the highest in the state. Yuma has wonderful stores and restaurants, banks, cheaper gas, cheaper tax, cheaper propane and it's right next to Los Algodones. Most of the RTRers do not have the money that Bob has. Hopefully he'll give it some thought.

I used to live in Phoenix back in the 60's-70's I moved from there in 1974 I havent been back since your videos shows me places I knew back then and my how they have changed.Just keep doing what your doing.Great Job loved those special little ones that travel with you their so precious.
Help ! Why do some videos show up as subscribed and show up in notifications and others of your video do not. I am subscribed. This happens with many different You Tubers I watch.
Heyyy Kevin. The new spot for RTR is much closer to town. No more going down that 'paved' road out of town to the gravel. No more gravel road to travel. Closer to Scaddan Wash where the permit is picked up. By the way ... we're in South Carolina. Georgia was amazingly beautiful and the people were so incredibly nice. Second sweetest people we've come across. Louisiana being the first. The bugs here! Yikes! Glad to see you are doing well.
that paved road was horrible. If they put it at Scaddan Wash then Quartzsite will be in easy walking distance!
Well for me I don't know about walking distance. I normally ended up coming back to the trailer with lots of rocks crystals and gems while in Quartzsite so I would need to walk with a wheelbarrow! Yes the new spot is going to be a much easier adventure. to you Sir.

Interesting vid. Thanks, Kevin. When you were about to honk the horn on the 1904 car, I was expecting to hear "ah-oo-gah" until I remembered that came about much later. My grandmother said they had an "Ah-oo-gah" car and asked if I had ever heard of one of those. I said no and she explained that they were called that because that's the sound their horns made--lol.
I think I heard Bob Wells say 2018 RTR will be in the same general area as this year but not on that bumpy road and more toward the LTVA area.

Great video. I had a sameri love the damn thing even know it was worn out was fun playing in the mud put it on its side once or twice and the guys just pushed it back over it was so light lol blast in the snow too.
I saw on RVer TV channel (There, Russ, a plug for ya'!) a long while back that the gas is always cheaper on the south side of I-10. I have no idea why unless Quartzite proper is just greedy and thinks nobody will travel any distance to get it cheaper. Always great to see a new video you've put out, Kevin! That was really interesting on those horse metal works! Strange part, is just this last week, I took some pics of a stage coach drawn by horses, and also an Native American one of the "trail of tears". But they are located up in NE Montana! :) Great scenes, love the different things you video and share! Blessings to you and wolf pack!

Loved old cars, I used to work at a body shop and I worked on many antique cars restoring body. ( I was a helper, I could not hold the spray gun for the spray time. I did paint interiors and doors etc. Retired now don't have to do it. Hard work ... you know about that)

We owned a small body shop that did restoration custom work in OH. I was a helper too, mixed bondo, and swept the floor. I was always covered in dust! LOL!
