what about the track cycling in Olympic?? they use fixed gear bikes.
I THINK back in the old days, fixie were used for racing and that's why fixie dont have break. If a racer break for some dumb reason, he will fall and create a chain reaction of crashing.

Reminds me of my restricted-gear junior racing days. It's not about power so much as rapid acceleration to a very high cadence and keeping it there.

I'm looking into the racing scene I have a fixie. It's all still fight but I run 5214 is my gear ratio currently running fyxation straps but I do have time attack clips which I might be afraid to use because of my gear ratio

What is the usual gear ratio for this kind of racing? Around 3 or even more than that?
Are there any rules what kind of chainring and sprocket to use?
I am cycling with the standard 46:16 and enjoy it for everyday use. Just for longer tours on the weekend I am thinking to go a little harder, maybe switching the chainring to 48 or the sprocket to 15t if possible.

Can you recommend a beginner fixie bike for me ? How many teeth on a crank and cog? That is easy on up hill and flat ?
Yes, I would recommend a Pure Fix single speed bike. It was my first single gear bike and got me into fixed and was one of smoothest bikes I've owned.

That's my club where i traint. I AM away by that club because they didn't give me the oppertunity to train. So now u don't like it there anymore
