    Vincenzo, first of all, congratulations on acquiring this Scribo model. Your video did the Scribo justice. Although my upper price limit is definitely 350 euros, this Scribo made my principle waver for a moment. Not many FP's can present their beauty and value in a video or photo. The La Dotta al Zigant can, which certainly has something to do with your great presentation.

    Hi Vincenzo! Your La Dotta is certainly a beautiful pen! That resin is amazing! My favorite design of the Scribo pens is the Piuma. I just like the looks of that one a little better, and it is slightly less expensive than the larger ones. Will be interesting to see your report on all the grail pens at the end of the year. Thanks for sharing the amazing Scribo!

    Vincenzo, what a gorgeous pen! I have the Turrita model with a non-flex nib. I heard you say that you are unable to get inside the body to fully clean it out by turning the section off the body. This is both true and false. True because it’s not threaded. However, those dear geniuses at Scribo have created a pen that can be fully disassembled for cleaning by using the end cap…much the way your Asvine V200 does (an excellent pen to practice disassembly on before tackling your Scribo). Except you’ll not need a wrench with the Scribo like the supplied in Asvine’s packaging.
    When I took mine apart for cleaning, quite by accident (it almost came apart on its own, it was that easy to take apart and put back together), I discovered the section sits inside the body like a hex nut. Your short Scribo video shows you exactly how it’s assembled. Not only did this help me with a very quick and convenient cleaning, but it let me decide how the resin pattern in the section and body sit together for best display. I. Love. This. Pen!
    Hope this helps keep your own beauty clean and happy and long-lived. Enjoy!

    Thank you Vincenzo so much for the nib comparisons and detailed explanation around the Feel the Flex fine nib. Such a helpful video for the fountain pen lovers and what graceful handwriting! What a joy to watch you making those strokes with these amazing pens.

    I received my scribo travertino today. I am really impressed by the way it writes. I wish they get their pricing to a more competitive state so they can go more mainstream. A wonderful pen.
    Have fun with yours.

    You appear to be a lovely man, with a lovely way of delivering what is a lovely content - and, I will add, I enjoyed a lovely experience watching this video.
    I subscribed.
    I forwarded this video to Gianluca Malaguti who, I'm sure, will relish to learn what the OMAS ex employees are up to.
    Bravò, from a fellow Neapolitan. By the way, which was that guest shop that started your passion? La Casa Della Penna in Corso Garibaldi, in Naples?

    Vincent please, we need a nib comparison video: Scribo vs vintage Omas vs modern Omas, you can do it! This would be great because Scribo nibs are the heir of vintage Omas (made by the same machine). Also you mentioned some other pens, as far as Pilot goes a closer comparison would be 743 (FA) or 912 (FA), not the 823 (FA nib not a standard option). 743 and 823 are basically the same pen but filling systems are different (converter vs vac). Also that Scribo ink looks lovely!

    • @fountainpentherapy
      @fountainpentherapy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s a great idea. I’m presently working on a flex showdown video but the OS comparison may be very interesting for the future.

      Do take care when using the vintage flex nibs. My vintage OMAS (1950's) has a cracked nib because someone went crazy on it and it split partways. It's still usable, but you can see the crack that goes through the breather hole. I've seen a lot of cracked vintage nibs because of people over stressing them

    I fully agree with your comments, and probably one of the best nib to switch instantly from a normal writing to a true full flex. Feel the Flex and thank you for this review 😀!

    Been thinking about getting a Scribo for a long long time now. Still haven't pulled the trigger on it. I dislike that their pens don't post, but I have an ASC that doesn't post either and i can I guess get around that fact. Awesome video my friend.

    For 600-700 you can find a Pilot Custom Urushi. If you like the softness of this Scribo but able to write everyday, the custom Urushi is the best by far.

    • @fountainpentherapy
      @fountainpentherapy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You speak of soft nib, but I really wonder if the pilot custom Arushi is softer than this one. I have my doubts but I can assure you that both the 845 and the big urushi are on my list.

    • @ArthurPhillip7
      @ArthurPhillip7 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@fountainpentherapy the 845 is not worth the money in my opinion. But the Custom Urushi no 30 nib is one of the top 2-3 nibs in world. You will be blown away.
      All my recs come by way of ShakMD, as he has every pen.

    That is a truly gorgeous pen. The resin somewhat resembles the resin in a special edition Esterbrook/Ferris Wheel Press collaboration pen; the Nebulous Plume; that was inspired by President John Kennedy's speech about " we will go to the moon, and do the other things, not because it is easy but because it is hard." Diamondcast resin is a creation of McKenzie Penworks and has been patented by him.

    Thank you for your review and demonstration of this pen and nib. It is clear that I would not be a user of the Ultra Flex from FPR.
    I would say that my preference would be for a soft nib, one that provides character to my writing. The Pilot Soft nibs, the Jowo Elastic nibs and the Pelikan Souveran nibs, especially the M1000 would be for me.
    The Scribo nib would fit in the Soft nib category.
    As for price, the Pilot and Leonardo Momento Zero Grande is in my price range.
