Great review! I purchased a few of the Tramol sailor pro gear clones off Etsy recently. They also have Jowo nibs. I found both nibs incredible out of the box. Having a slightly larger pro gear design using a Jowo nib was perfection. Kudos to Tramol for their attention to this detail
Thank you Vincenzo once again! Your coverage, assessment and appreciation of more accessible fountain pens, including those from China, to my mind combines with your familiarity with high end and work-of-art pens. Your breadth of experience with fountain pens gives extra credence to your assessment of these cheaper offerings. Thanks for helping me enjoy many writing instruments from afar!
I very much appreciate the superior quality of your recent videos. They already used to be very attractive and pleasurable to watch. Now they are superb. Congratulations on the high level of your production! The contents remain very relevant. And your friendly style is extremely commendable.
I don’t usually comment because I mainly watch all of your reviews on my tv. But thank you for these reviews, especially on the Chinese pens. This is my therapy as well, and after this week…it is much needed. Your smiling face brightens my day every time I open a video. You made me cry tears of happiness when you received your grail pen. Keep up the great work. Much love from Houston. ❤
Hi Vincenzo! This Tramol pen is a very good looker! Can't go wrong with a Jowo nib! MIght look into one of these. The gold trim is nice! Thanks for sharing this one with us!
20:22 Pen makers don´t pay retail prices for nibs though, they pay a fraction of this to Bock or Jowo. If they (would) fully add the retail price of the nib, it increases their margin. I don´t blame them, would try the same.
Nice review Vincenzo. I also have this pen at home (but in silver not gold), we can only hope Tramol will continue in this way and continue to propose great pens like this. Thank you 👌
A nice review Vincenzo. It's a nice looking pen and looks like a nice writer as well. Its a little too ornate for my taste, although I must say I have 2 Hongdians that are pretty ornate - the Hongdian D5 (the original metal version) & a Hongdian 100 in all silver. In my pipeline, I already have a beautiful dark blue Parker 51 Aerometric, but I'm just waiting on an adapter to arrive to convert it to a Cartridge/Converter fill. I also have a Gravitas Quark in Stone Washed Zirconium, and recently pulled the trigger on a Grand Abhimanyu from Peyton Street Pens. Finally, tonight I decided to go ahead and I ordered a Hero 616 & 359. That and a Majohn Master N12 which appears to be a dip pen with changeable nibs like in a nib unit & not like the typical dip pen. I can't wait to get that last one!!
I received mine today and agree with you that it’s a good quality, well made pen . The jowo nib seems to have a long neck from the shoulder to the tip, that makes it easy to direct. The plain black box it came seems very similar to the Majohn (Moonman) variety?
A very nice, stylish looking pen. I buy a lot of Chinese pens. My only disappointment with this pen is that it’s not a piston filler. A good mix of Italian 🇮🇹 and Chinese 🇨🇳 pens is fine with me.
On the nib: 醒狮 in seal script. Waking lion. The model name. Interesting to see this new brand was secretly launched in China and available overseas at the same time. I guess this brand is under the same hand of Asvine.
Thank you for your review, Vincenzo. The pen looks wonderful and seems to work well. What is the weight of the pen? I think you have a measurement of length instead of weight. Do you happen to know the diameter of the cartridge that can be used? Would it be for an international cartridge or one that is larger and will only use something like a Hong Dian cartridge?
As shown in the video it comes with a cartridge/converter, but if you want to use cartridges, unless it specifically says so in what comes with the pen, Chinese pens do not use the International size cartridges. The Jinhao's typically use a 3.4 mm opening with a 51 mm length cartridge among other pens. The other Chinese standard is a 2.6 mm opening, and certain pens can only use a 39mm long cartridge (I have two of those pens).
I totally prefer the option of a nice chinese nib or even no nib... But you know? We're reaching a point where everybody is hoarding, there's just too many offerings from all pen manufacturers, not only from Asia but in general, this is consumerism at its finest. I have a long list of pens I'd like to try but sometimes I stop and think if I'll really use them ever. But videos like this help me to not buy, they have that effect on me and that's totally fine 😎

I have the Silver one & love it - Jowo Medium is excellent. Available for $ 64.00 Canadian.

Stay tuned this weekend for my review of another tramol pen

I also like Indian pens and stay tuned. A few are coming up.

How far I’ve been very pleased with their offerings
Vincenzo - another good review, thanks! Did you see the new Hongdian WA351?
It’s been ordered and I’m waiting for it. Should arrive any day now.
Thank you for your review, Vincenzo. The pen looks wonderful and seems to work well.

It is definitely a good feeling to be able to resist purchasing!
When you have a shaky hand, pls roll the pen on the table.
My apologies if it was so unpleasant for you
@@fountainpentherapy sorry for my blunt advice.
Where did you get it? How does one order one?
Check them out on AliExpress
Jowo NOT Bock...
