So many things confuse me about level 10 9:06. Why does the entrance door close twice? 9:25 how does he clip from the floor to the ceiling? 9:44 nice clip through the gate.
The door closes twice because i fuckedd up the slide to fall down, i wouldnt have fell so to avoid loosing even more time i restarted the lvl. The clip to the top, is due to an overflow bug, where the prince position ends up going all the way up, leadong to appearing on the top instead of the bottom.
I love this game! I believe that the clunkiness of it makes "easy" to speedrun, except lvl7 and 8 which has annoying setup. Anyway, amazing run! Congratulations

Using expoits does not equal to cheating, moreover, in the 90's people were using actual cheats like crazy, definitely more than nowadays. In speedruns you have a lot of different categories, you can watch 100% runs with no major glitches if that's more to your liking. No need to throw insults just because someone is better than you.

That's cheating by definition. Yes we cheated in the 90s but we never posted our cheated runs for the community to see claiming them as some great fucking accomplishment.

But people submitting their any% runs do not do it to show the author or the game that they can beat it. They show other people they can beat it faster than them. And when submitting such runs, you are not cheating other players when it's clear that you are using glitches/bugs, whatever you call it. Other players can use it as well, so it is not "unfair advantage" over them. If every player has the same playing ground, there's no cheating. When it comes to the '90s, it again shows how uneducated you are regarding things you talk so loudly about. Back then, people were using the same type of glitches that we can see in modern any% runs, for instance in Quake and Doom, to name just two classic games. And players were not only using the glitches but also were posting that on the internet for others to see and encouraging them to beat their time. So by saying "we", you are essentially saying "you", because you couldn't beat any of the times so you didn't post anything. Finally, as I already mentioned, there are different categories of runs and you can watch whatever you like. If these kind of runs are not an accomplishments, please upload yours, if it's so easy. We'll at least get something to laugh about.
I dont really know what you mean by pushing falling plate in lvl 12. I use you mean jump into the button, rather to damage cancel on the falling tiles, that is slower than what i did on the video
@@juanpabloaschieri6336 On the 11:20 of your video instead of walking left you can climb one more level, go down, hang on hands, climb again, turn right, push the plate above you, when it falls climb one more level and jump to the right. You can win about 10 seconds with this trick, and with the jump over falling plates on 11 level you can make new record less than 12 minutes, I'm pretty sure.

You can improve your record, using trick jump from falling plates in 11 level, and by pushing falling plate in 12 level
