- This week, we found ourselves at the John Lennon Airport for a layover in Liverpool, England. As a true Beatles fan, I made the most of the opportunity and took the Hard Days Night Taxi Tour to see some of the most famous spots in Beatles history!! Spent 5 day's exploring in 97..actually had tears in the eyes arriving.

@@jannette0802 I had come all the way from Australia, the first day we went on the tour, the next day we were due to go to Dublin as part of our tour, I told my friend to go ahead I wanted to stay in Liverpool, for the next 5 days I went on all the different tours and did some exploring myself, stayed at the historic Adelphi, I had been a huge fan since I was a kid, that experience at the age of 32 was something I'll never forget it was everything I thought it'd be and more. Good luck ❤

had the privilege of being on a tour with joey through the hard days night taxi tour.. brilliant experience would recommend it to any Beatles fan visiting Liverpool.. intimate and lots of amazing stories iv never heard before.. thanks joey

1:27 about the actual truth, funny thing. Paul, breaking down his all iconic songs said that the song Eleanor Rigby wasn't directed to anyone in particular, he was passing by a shop called Rigby and it seemed like a perfect name. Also father McKenzie was primarly father McCartney but Paul found it quite weird so he changed it randomly to McKenzie because it was just the next name in his phonebook. So basically the names on the gravestones are totally random :)

I come from Finland, and I was supposed to be a violin camp in London, but it was canceled due to the corona :( Then I have become a big Beatles fan, so then when we get to London, it would be nice to also visit Liverpool!

The cemetery has nothing to do with Eleanor Rigby Paul liked the name Eleanor and when he was in Bristol he saw a shop called Rigby the name in the grave yard is not related the same is with Father McKenzie

what are you talking about, Eleanor Rigby wasn't written because of the tombstone, it was a coincidence that it exists, Paul never knew of its existence until way after the song came out

Eleanor rigby was a song made in pauls imagination, eleanor was a name he liked and he got rigby from a store he came across in bristol england, and just made about lonely people so eleanor rigby is not a real person. Saved you guys time and money for going to england to find the story
