I have just started a 11972 conversion to a 1970 frame off just like your project and it is hard, really hard! Your videos are helping me more than I could possibly say! I will build the cart asap now that I got out all of the *&%!!@ body bolts. I had to cut through the trunk and the back seat to get to them. Great videos!

I actually had to do the same. I don’t know what gym thought it was a good idea putting the bolts inside the frame 😂 good luck.

Honestly, I’m so glad I built some instead of buying them. They work perfectly.

I'm interested how this project will turn out. I have a 72 Chevelle that I'm working on. Built my body cart out of 4x4 and 2x4 wood and put casters on it to move around if needed. I built the cart so that I can move the frame under it for storage, as I'm limited on space. So far, I have my frame striped down to bare metal, and just need to clean up inside the boxed in portions of the frame before cleaning and priming the frame prior to painting. It's taken me about 40 hours over the past 3 months to get to this point.

Great videos, I watched all 3 so far. very fast paced. I have a '72 SS I'll be starting on soon and the floor and trunk area have the same issues. Question: What brand are the panels and what vendor did you use? Thanks, looking forward to seeing it finished!

I’m pretty sure they ordered everything off of jegs. All of the panels fit better than I expected, excluding one of the quarters….. but, it’s better than completely fabricating one.

Great video but respectfully slow your movements down a bit. Hard to track. At least for me.

What size tubing did you use? I’m looking to do the same thing. Good videos by the way.

I used mostly 1x1 square tubing to brace the body.
