In Fallout peak oil happened early and the US went full isolatist mode, with the rest of the world basically collapsing until it was literally just the US (including the newly acquired territory of Mexico and the even newer and far more rebellious territory of Canada) and China left to squabble over the last reserves of oil. IIRC in the Fallout timeline its India and Pakistan that get into a nuclear war first which then later spreads to Europe.

This was great! On another note, I just got home after my 12 year old son and I were just going driving as we were a little bored. This was great! On another note, I just got home after my 12 year old son and I were just going driving as we were a little bored. On the way home he randomly told me that he was waiting for Russia to collapse so he could have some new countries to memorize! He kills me :) He loves memorizing all the countries, their flags, and capitol cities.
