- You NEED to be able to launch a payload on your Switch to be able to use one of these modules. You can replace the storage no problem but to expand the storage, you MUST have your unique encryption keys. You do not need to run CFW to use expanded storage.

Note that there is no decryption involved with this tool. You still NEED your keys to decrypt the storage, whether it is on the Switch or in the mmcblknx tool or even just a binary on your computers local storage.
