    Had a pair of HL Compact for the last 25yrs...still sounds superb.

    I have the Harbeth S5HL and will never ever sell them, love them to death!

    What you can do is have them pointing straight at you but if you find them bright? Get a thick ring of Blu-Tack put it on the tweeter baffle plate a good inch away round from the driver edge, covered in hemp cloth from a sack, Make the ring and pass It on The Hemp first and then apply it to the speaker make sure you're not touching the speaker or grill diffuser, make sure you manipulate massage the blue tack thoroughly first in your hand otherwise your have a problems it sticking to the speaker plate or front baffle whatever model speaker it is.
