Mill Vanilli's biggest UK Hits Girl You Know It's True and Girl I'm Gonna Miss You fell just short of Number 1 in 1988 and 1989. Baby Don't Forget My Number (released in between the aforementioned songs) was their only other major UK hit.
Lots and lots of top 5 and top 10 hits in the UK but surprisingly only 3 UK number 1s up to this point: One Day in Your Life (1981),Billie Jean (1983) and I Just Can't Stop Loving You (1987) He had all these UK Top 3 hits in the 70s and 80s: 70s: Rockin' Robin and Don't Stop Till You Get Enough 80S: She's Out of My Life,Beat It,Say Say Say (with Paul McCartney),Bad,The Way You Make Me Feel and Leave Me Alone
I forgot to say I liked the Phil Collins cover of A Groovy Kind of Love and Nothing's Gonna Change my Love for You '88...I think I have I Should be so Lucky by Kylie Minogue cause I got her album Kylie on Geffen...she's terrific..a breast cancer survivor wonderful huh??..the one from '88 that sticks out is Orinico (sp)? Flow (Sail Away) by Enya that was catchy I remember when it came out and I thought that what the title was for years then I saw the title was Orinico (sp)? Flow
I was quite surprised by two of these. lol I thought "He Ain't Heavy (He's My Brother)" by the Hollies was from the 1960s, and I thought "Orinoco Flow" by Enya was from the 2000s.
I remember these I was 18/19-20 I graduated from high school in '88...was He ain't Heavy by the Hollies in '88 a reissue???? cause it originally came out in '70..I remember I think we're Alone Now Heaven is a Place on Earth Carnie Wilson sang background two years before she became a pop star herself cool huh????....I don't understand the controversy in the Like a Prayer video I thought it was anti racist...the songs I do remember here in the US I liked another trip down memory lane
Other MJ Top 10 hits in the UK in the 70s and 80s: 70s: Got To Be There,Ain't No Sunshine,Ben and Off the Wall 80s: Rock With You,The Girl is Mine (with Paul McCartney),Wanna Be Starting Something,Thriller,Farewell My Summer Love,Dirty Diana and Smooth Criminal
Hi, Your videos have been a big help in making myself a music-playlist, finding the videos to the songs I liked on your "Number One Hits". I've named the playlist: 1978-2009. I'm looking forward to changing the name in 17 months (-2011)! Any chance of changing it before (1976-)? Thanks for uploading!

Alice Cooper poison reached UK Number 2 in summer 1989
Saw him closing the Reading festival a couple of years before that!
