    Looks like a fun product. More stencil videos! Amazing change when the blue layer was added to the stencil. It looked so different. I used a shiny metallic looking watercolor set and watercolor brush and watercolored using a stencil for what might be a similar look. I had a "duh" moment recently: I didn't know why you would call yellow "slippery when wet". Oh...the caution sign!

    I haven't gotten any of this yet to see it in person, but one of the things I'm loving about this as far as I can tell in videos is that it's a little sheer. So when you layer the colors like you did on the embossed paper, you still get some of that under color showing through.

    another idea has just come to me. the sponges come of th etools i think dont they are the on vecro. if so have a saucer with a small drop or two of water then dab the sponge in the water than wipe across some normal white card or watercolour card for better effect. then use the heat tool to dry. keep doing this each time and then when you have used all u can from the sponge then wash it out. adn leave to dry. just an idea. but again not wasting it. xgreat tutorial s and videos though simon. that is my only bit of the videos i have any prob with. x

  • @emmacummins2675
    @emmacummins2675 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    simon im in uk. but i love yur videos. just to watch someone crafting. now i know these are your products but the one hat ei have is in thsi video at the beginning you say about putting blending tool into the potand when finished you put the sponge and dab onto kitchen roll. however most crafters are frugal and make everything go furter if we can. why not place the excess left over onto another pice of card all same colour add bit each time and gradually build up the card with the colour. as it dried in between each day anyway so you say. or use heat tool . or pop onto like a pallette or saucer and use paintbrsh and bit of water u could keep dabbing the tool onto the pallette or glass mat an ddadd water an ddo yourself a card background. this means its not wasted. crafters often have to save up to buy different tools and equipment. they dont have a business where you can be a bit more wasteful . just a thought but could you maybe practice the frugal a bit more in your videos. u could even have say an a4 or a3 piece of card where you could add different colouors to different areas of the card. adn add it each time and layer u to get different degrees of opaque or thicker. rich colour. rather thn pastel. and then you can die cut or cut into that big sheet adn make into smaller things for you rcards. ir all means products go further adn no waste. in this day and age waste can be cut better if we think about it. leonie on the craft store or create and craft on tv always uses the excess to produce further background.

    when you wet the stencil use your paintbrish just to brish across in al directions this makes the lunar paste i guess more watercoour lilke you have shown it can be used them press down onto cardstock. and use a drop of water on you rworktop adn again bring in some card and usea brush pick up the colour on the worktop. dont just wipe away. the products of cost alot of moeny for alot of people and are luxeries that many have to save up to be able to afford. and im sure they are just as horrified to see you just wipe away what could still be used as other backgrounds.

  • @roxanneklinger3828

    If you can dampen the workspace and stencil to remove the paste, why don't you just keep a wet pad by your work space to rub the past off your tool as soon as you are done with it instead of letting it dry on the foam?
