I love videos that focus more on techniques rather than projects. My favorite background ( I don’t think you made it into a card ) was the one made with the Mosaic Florals stencil where the mosaic pieces were blue. The high contrast that comes from using complimentary colors makes my heart happy 😊 My favorite technique was the one with the Sweater Weather stencil where you first inked and then shifted the stencil and used the Tropical Tango Lunar Paste. It created an all over pattern of funky monochromatic mandalas that spoke to me. That’s my jam. Even better? I have that stencil. I love that stencil! I’ve had wedding cards on my brain lately and I am wondering about trying the same technique but with pigment ink and embossing powder. Dunno because there might not be enough of a textural contrast. Pearly white and matte white or silver or even clear would be pretty. I’m wondering if you or Ranger has any data on how many makers lose product to time. I invariably want the rainbow-- yeah, the full spectrum. But when I buy full sets, particularly with pastes and gels, the products harden. It’s a real bummer, but I cannot use that much paste fast enough. I’m wonder if other makers suffer from the same problem or maybe they are just more prolific than I am or else, they rein themselves in and only get a few colors at a time? Where’s the fun in that? Anyway products going bad is why I like a base paste and just adding color with alcohol ink or reinkers and additmica powders and glitter as I see fit. BTW, If your pastes and gels harden, you don’t have to toss them. You can grind that stuff down into smaller bits and mix it back into another paste. Or sprinkle it on top. It creates an aggregate look similar to concrete or terrazzo.
Hello again young man - as always loving your work from afar here in Australia. It goes without saying we'll be big fans of the new colours (kinda expected them to be honest ... hope more from your ink pad range come in future too! ) I have a comment about the pointed spatulas in the kit. Many stencils we get have such fine detail to them, such as flower centres, seeds, pods, little tiny leaves ... I ended up getting an older similar shaped tool and snipping the end off it because what I really needed was something I could use in much the same fashion as you'd use a hand held garden hoe. I've only the one (unprofessional, butchered one) but I would LOVE a set of three, maybe edge sizes 0.5cm, 1.0cm then 1.5cm; anything larger than that the ones you've released would handle quite well enough. Anyway ... loving your work and love watching your vids. Thank you!

In the example with the lunar paste circles and then inking over top, do you wipe off the ink from the lunar paste circles as you would a heat embossed image that was inked over? I am totally loving the lunar pastes, I have one in my craft room but have yet to open it and work with it.
